  • How did you do the electricals and stuff?

  • @TheTeamMental

For the flipper, its just a small relay that I put 12v into to fire (its spring return). I click the switch which connects the relay to the power.

the pit is done on a 3-position switch, 1 side puts power through the actuator motor one way, click the other way, it sends it the other, middle is neutral. message me if you want a diagram.

  • @razerdave could u upload a diagram on fb and were any speed controllers used?

  • why do you not use mindstorm for the flipper then it could reload and work fully automatic but awsome arena i going to build one myself :D

  • @niIIer1

At the point of building I was trying to do it on the cheap. I have a new arena now and it will be more powerful on that one.

  • @razerdave ok but i will use it ( i allready have it) and i think mindstorm motor can flip 100 grams but at the moment i am the first in denmark who builds a antweight (but i beginning tomorow) i got the pieces so now there is also an antweight roboteer from denmark yaaa :D i going to upload vids off my robot in the making soon

    PS. your robots is awsome

  • @niIIer1

Yay, a new country to convert to antweights :) Come and join the UK antweight builders on the Robot Wars 101 forum.

I look forward to seeing your robot, and thanks for the kind comment :)

  • Great Arena! you should bring it to Roaming Robots events!

  • @MicroGravity100 ....I do :) I'm pretty much a part of the RR crew, I take this arena to events all the time

  • how much was this cost to build?

  • @x19710 The arena only cost me about £15 for nuts and bolts, switches for the control box and that liniear actuator on the pit, the rest was begged borrowed given or stolen

PS: I don't condone stealing, just an expression :)

  • Razzler!

  • pure awsomness

  • Looks good David :)

  • Sure wish we had something like that up by us.

Sadly, the Northeast Robot Club's motto is "No House Bots, No Hazards, no Bull$#!T"

  • It has hazards because I made it to look like the real arena.

    Northeast ? Where are you Headbanger142 ?

  • New Jersey. Most of the robot events near me are in Pennslvania though.

  • kl nice kl i like the pit :)10/10
