What year was this song released in? I'm doing a project for school and need songs from the 60's, I only need one more song and i love this one. Google is being stupid lol. Can someone help me? :)
@keenhr8t4blues It was recorded at Atlantic Studios in New York during May 1967.Good luck with your school project. This tune would be considered "late sixties" since the early 60's stuff was completely different.
@starcaster4321 gentley friend, please make some allowence for those who have a disability and no understanding of real music. the reference to the steak-wearing one shows that there is a lack of proper education, use of drugs and real rock and roll.
Summer of '72. Driving from Merced in central California to Spokane, Wa. and back in a 65 Datsun station wagon with no radio. But I had a cassette tape recorder and a few tapes I made just before leaving. The best one had Disraeli Gears on side A and Wheels of Fire on side B. Just me and three outstanding musicians. One of the best road trips ever!
Who thinks Cream nicked the riff for "Sunshine of your love" from the soul instrumental track by Willie Mitchell - "Up Hard? Compare the base lines ;)
TOP 10 GUITARISTS 1. Randy Rhoads 2. Eric Clapton 3. Jimi Hendrix 4. Pete Townshend 5. Jimmy Page 6. George Harrison 7. Jake E Lee 8. Tony Iommi 9. Brad Gillis 10. David Gilmour
@Brodir100 I have to agree, Cream was what I call an artsy band. Clapton didn't play like a speed demon, each note was squeezed out in true creative bliss. Sure you can hear his influences but he takes it to a higher plateau. Cream always takes me back to a special place. The Stones don't, The Beatles don't. There was magic in their music.

@SuperTugz - Yeah, but in 20 years all these people will still be dropping by - and there will be about three people who even remember Justin Beiber.
