I tasted both Evan Williams and Knob Creek side by side with a glass of water to wash down each one and I found Evan Williams to finish much much better, surprisingly. Kind of upset by the result, considering I paid nearly $30 more for the bottle of Knob.

Williams had more overall flavor whereas Knob had a smoother slide....but a raunchy (almost chemical like) finish.

Same here. Why go for Beam when you can have Evan Williams for $8 cheaper? One of the best buys in liquors out there. I wouldn't call it great but it's very drinkable and pretty damn good for what you pay.
