  • Vince Gill is the Main Reason i started listening to Country Music And Kick Ass Guitar Solo's like that is what turned me on to Country Guitar Players Instead of Rock 'N' Roll Rock on Vince!!!!!.

  • Kenny Davis was Vince Gill's first peddle steel guitarist. Kenny still plays with Vince's Original Band "Mountain Smoke".

  • Vince did some mighty good pickin' on this 1, right, gang? His 1st solo top 10, HIt #9 in Billboard, 3-1-86. God bless!

  • I caught Vince Gill's acoustic show in Cincinnati a couple of years ago. I knew the cat could sing and play but my Lord, what an entertainer! During the show, the audience was encouraged to shout out requests. As usual, some people don't know when to shut up but Vince took it all in stride and kept the show rollin' while keeping the audience in line...This guy is a monster talent! Just ask Mark Knopfler...He once asked Vince to join Dire Straits! Wow! That would've been killer!

  • great solo and great musicien !!

  • Around 2'30" Vince looks eerily reminiscent of a slimmer Danny Gatton. Great stuff -thanks!

  • that tele sounds awesome. Now THAT's good country.

  • They don't call him Vince "The Prince" for nothing!

  • Andrea Zonn Fiddle,John Hughey on pedal steel?

  • that is correct my friend!

  • the smile at 2:34 says it all!

  • I've seen vince up close playing this song so many times and everytime, everytime he plays it the exact same way. Incredible.

  • Ice cool playing Vince !

  • I play rock guitar... but those country boys sure kick ass.. i just gotta teach myself to pick like that.... i'm crazy for it.

  • You can't "rock it" if you can't "pick it". I applaude you for knowing what's good in this world, and comend you for making it an inspiration !!! Good things will come.

  • Jimi...check out Albert Lee

  • I remember this song and Oxo's "Whirly Girl" were a couple of the first songs on VH1

  • That was a great solo from Vince!!!!

  • Thanks for the video. I am moving back to Oklahoma very soon. It's the only place in the world I can be happy. When I cross the border back into Oklahoma, I think I will get out of my truck and kiss the ground.

  • Carl Jackson on Acoustic?

  • Tony King

  • you are not bad!!!

  • Check out Vince's soloing on the rendition of Oklahoma Borderline I got posted; hope you enjoy!

  • R.I.P. John Hughey

  • Thanks for that, did not know. Great musician.

  • From 3:31-3:51...OMG!!!!

  • It is astounding.

  • With all due respect, this was Vince's best band. Excellent!

  • ditto. He played at the MN State Fair last year and had a sax and trombone with him..sounded awful.

  • Couldn't agree more, Vince is one killer axeman. The tone of this solo in the Crossroads Guitar festival DVD version of the song is much fuller and richer, totally unmissable.

  • This is Oklahoma border line. Guitar playing like that is what makes a guitar player smile!! TASTY.. One of my all time favorite Guitar solo's. Gotta love this You Tube don't cha?!!!!

  • great guitar work!!!

  • Great. I've first seen this thing at a DVD of Crossroads Festival. There is a slide guitar instead of fiddle, but fiddle is also good. Thanks a lot

  • Should this title be Oklahoma Borderline?

  • OK. I think you're right.
