There is nothing wrong with switching to a "green" economy... but fossil fuels are gonna be needed to some degree for the foreseeable future. To cap and tax carbon is shitty for the economy especially when countries like China are expected to be honest in their reporting of cut backs. Energy independence, of all energy types, should be the goal of the US for economic reasons not "climate" reasons.
