  • @TheZapzupNZ Whangarei Falls maybe, I wouldn't know, as I haven't dived in it, but as for the Harbour I've dived all over it, and the only thing I find is massive scallop & pipi beds, big kingfish to shoot, miles of snapper all round plus all of the orcas & dolphins that frequently come to visit.

Yes there is the very occassional pollution from big storms that the Whangarei council desperately needs to address. Thankfully I live in One Tree Point.

  • @PETE1DUDE You definitely should. If you like rugby at all, NZ is the place to be at the moment, since the Rugby World Cup is on. The country has gone mad over it. It's an incredible event for everyone who is here from near and far.

  • whangarei harbour in New Zealand

  • This would be a beautiful video if the title, tags and description weren't misleading.

  • I didnt see it bite a girls foot, were you lying to us?

  • Asshole dolphin attacks someone hilarious.

  • where was here

  • @The581online Whangarei Harbour, NZ. We live on the border of it in One Tree Point and fairly regularly have dolphins & orcas coming through.

  • Nice nice video very nice

  • I wonder so much about the Dolphins and Porpoises... I have so much to ask them! Maybe if I get to heaven God will tell me all about them. =)

  • stop your boat and the dolphins go away, they are playing on the waves from the boat.

  • Good point

  • about the scariest thing in whangarei harbour would be the pollution! the palce is the most poluuted place i know in new zealand and thats saying a lot.

  • Well clean the bloody place up ow, come on here and moan about it.

  • get out of town mate!

  • They love it actually because they ride on the bow wave, it's fun for them. The contaminants to really worry about would be the floatsam, stuff that falls off container ships, especially plastics which don't degrade. Metals tend to corrode, sink to bottom and provide artificial reef's but plastics float, get mistaken for food and choke the marine life to death.

  • I swam with dolphins in Mauritius, in a low vis estuary, and I'm telling you, these animals are smart enough to have a sense of humour...

The second you got in the water they disappeared, the second you got out they'd be breaching and jumping around he boat.

I am absolutely sure they were taking the p- out of us...

  • Let DOWN

  • Great song.. I love U2. Best band EVER!!

  • Woh! Flippin heck, at first I thought this was just a fake! This is mental, I can't believe that girl actually got ripped to bits....

  • It IS a fake! No-one got ripped to bits! What are you talking about?!

  • Looks like an awesome time. Feel sorry for the guys in the boat who aren't in the water...

  • Oh, me too!

  • Buzz. Kill.

  • FAKE TITLE

  • I was keen as fuck to see a dolphin attack but that was still pretty good, what a sweet day.

  • You won't see it - there has never been a single recorded case of a dolphin making an unprovoked attack on a human being, and they do not have the gene that other animals, such as humans, have that can make them violent.

  • you are an idiot, there has been many recorded attacks and death from dolphins. And what are you talking about they dont have the gene? What gene is this that makes animals attack each other, nice try fag.

  • I said UNPROVOKED - the only attacks and killings by dolphics have been because the humans have in some way upset them, even without realising it. And I don't know that the name of the gene is but it's part of our genetic material that makes us volatile and temperamental. Dolphins don't have it. I am not an idiot.

  • Violence gene? What gene is that, pray tell.

  • As I already explained, it's not a gene as such, I said that in the wrong way, but part of their genetic material. They have different hormones, so their violence is all orientated around protecting their young and obviously hunting, they don't just kill like humans do, and you don't get sadistic dolphins!

  • wheres the attack?

  • There isn't one, it's a fake title to draw people in.

  • What a brutal video! I had never heard of dolphins attacking humans before. People should think twice before swimming with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The dolphins didn't attack, they used a fake title to draw people in! There has never been a single recorded case of a dolphin making an unprovoked attack on a human being, and there have been countless records of dolphins saving humans from sharks, drowning, heavy waves e.t.c. - if you're going to go swimming deap out in the sea, you WANT to go with dolphins!

  • Sorry, deep
