  • "estas viendo noticero telemundo chicago mas que lo es peras" does that mean "your watching telemundo newsreport, more than the pears?"

  • I believe the announcer is saying: "You're watching Telemundo Chicago news, more of what you're waiting for!" By the way the slogan in Spanish is "Mas de lo que esperas".

  • this almost looks like WNBC 4's open

  • Don't be surprised on the similarities. NBC/Telemundo O&O (Owned and Operated) Stations use similar graphics for their newscasts intros. Only difference is the network affiliation.

  • WKAQ-TV in San Juan, Puerto Rico uses the same graphics, but without the "WNBC News" theme. I guess those graphics are standard for the O&Os?
