Don't be surprised on the similarities. NBC/Telemundo O&O (Owned and Operated) Stations use similar graphics for their newscasts intros. Only difference is the network affiliation.
"estas viendo noticero telemundo chicago mas que lo es peras" does that mean "your watching telemundo newsreport, more than the pears?"

WKAQ-TV in San Juan, Puerto Rico uses the same graphics, but without the "WNBC News" theme. I guess those graphics are standard for the O&Os?
