@xLuciferLoverx Hello, are really fantastic pictures, really enjoyed, and the sound, I know one day all these places, congratulations. I also did a video, my city Curitiba goes there to check, just put this link in the address bar after youtube /watch?v=3D_rcE1YtWA
Porter Airlines starts the 7 daily return flights to New York city on march 31, 2008. They use the 72 seat Q400 Bombardier plane which is very very quiet and pollutes less per passenger than almost any other plane, prop or jet. See an interactive website of the Q400 at Q400 dot com.
Short haul flight are the most polluting form of transportation because it takes so much energy to get the planes in the air. Nobody is advocating going to Pearson to fly to Ottawa or Montreal. Take the train, bus or even drive - these are way less damaging to the environment.
Your so full of it. Had you studied a tad but you'd know that Porter produces fewer carbon emissions per passenger than most other modes of transportation and requires fewer trees to be planted to offset the emissions. For example from Toronto to Ottawa you'd have to plant approx 56 trees to offset the emissions from an SUV but Porter only would need 27. Q400's carry 70 people, SUVs max 8.
How is an airplane landing at Toronto Island airport any more polluting than the hundreds of airplanes which fly directly over downtown on their way into and out of Pearson?
And how does the pollution from the island airport compare to the emmissions of thousands of cars on the Gardiner and Lakeshore every single day?
And by the way, how polluting is the ferry that you commute on every day?
im gonna to Toronto tomorrow, can't wait :D

I would worry more about factories, and the real polluters of our air first? Why not use
Porter.... if your in a hurry a train or bus is not what you want as a business person!

Thanks for dumping all your carcinogens and CO2 over Toronto's waterfront.
Lucky you didn't crash land.
Scandanavian Airlines stopped flying the Bombardier Q400s because of several crash landings from faulty landing gear. Why hasn't Porter?
