@TapouTaP Yeah the van sure did get owned. Good thing it was a full sizer and not a minivan. There would of been no chance of survival in that case.

I dont think its fair to comment rudely about people involved in the accident, there actually were no witnesses, the first person came on the scene 5 minutes after it happened. Im just glad everyone is alive and walking, the guy in the black truck is still concussed and beat up. Dave is doing well I just saw him yesterday and he is not holding any hard feelings against anyone.

Dave is doing okay. It is a miracle that he is still alive. He is in the hospital in Creston right now after being in Trail. He is up and walking but slowly. He does have limited mobility in his hands. I guess his vertabre is cracked in such a way that if he rests for a while, it will likely heal back to normal.

Hats off to Scrap King Towing of Salmo, They are very brave to be climbing down 500 feet, and should have a medal for the hard and dangerous work they do.

It is getting so that I am afraid to go on the highway. I hope Mr. Perrin will be ok. People need to be more careful. My father was killed last year in Wynndel because of a careless driver and a few years before that my sister was badly hurt because of a careless driver along the Kootenay lake road... .

yea im from salmo, i guess they decided to sed scrap king to pull them out, but yea i know what you mean. i hate going to the store just to cross the main road i ahve almost been hit over 50 times. it is disturbing.
