Thankyou for sharing this,I lost My little Scottie 'Tess' on Sunday.....Oh how I miss Her...I have to think the fourteen faithful unconditional years of love she gave to keep Me going
I have my own scottie maezie, and she is a brindle too. She just turned 2, and I saw the video of watching Bucca run, then watched this video. Couldn't help but cry.
Thankyou for sharing your memories, I'm crying so hard because I can see how loved she was. What a long & happy life she had & how lucky you were to know her for so long. My heart really aches for you, it's just so painful when they have to go but she's still with you in spirit & watching over you. Bless her beautiful heart & you also for giving her such a wonderful life.
What a beloved Scottie was your Bucca! You chose a most wonderful song to express what all Scottie lovers feel for their beloved 'canines'. Three years ago on Dec. 27, will be the day we had to let our Forever Scottie, An'GUS go to the Bridge. I know he is there waiting for me; and I know my Mother is with him. That is what keeps me going. Like my An'GUS, your Bucca is forever tucked safely in your heart. God bless.
What a wonderful tribute to Bucca!! One of the hardest things is to lose them. Scotties are so wonderful and have such wonderful personalities. They are more like people than dogs! I lost my wheaten colored Scottie, Bertie on 01/22/2010. He was 15 and 1/2 years old. I will never forget him and I have never grieved as much as I do for him. I'll never get over losing him. Bless you. You and Bucca will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. Peace.
I remember seeing Bucca's treat video years ago and being so happy to see a gorgeous older [15!] Scottie running around like that! Mine [Agnes] is about to turn 9 and I'm already freaking - if you read the books and hear the vets talk, they claim don't live past 12. Rubbish! I think 17 is almost unheard of and certainly a sign that you are one of the best dog Moms on the planet :) I think we Scottie lovers are as special a breed as our dogs :) Cheers, Bucca :)
I'm really sorry about your dog that's always real sad when a family pet dies especially a dog. But the good thing is she lived a long and eventful life.
Your video made me cry...Bucca looked just like my Mia who I lost to cancer this year. She cwas only 2&1/2 yrs old. Scotties (& Westies)are magical, wonderful dogs...So full of life & character...Bless You & thanks for the moving tribute. .........Westieholic
Sorry for your loss I know what it means... This year I already lost two of my pets my cat of 18 years old and my little terrier of 4 years old... I still have my other terrier, but is not the same...

Bucca,
Your beautiful black nose....
I bet you could have 30 different moods in 30 minutes.
Did you ever go "humph!" when you were insulted by Wispurs?
Did you ever go back to your bed and face the wall to show Wispurs you were mad?
Did you ever lay on the floor with your head on Wispurs shoe while Wispurs was sitting at a desk working?
It didn't make any difference, did it, where you were as long as Wispurs was with you.
Thank you for the good cry.
My sympathies to Wispurs.

Bucca was a true loved dog and she had a life that deserved to be lived.
I've a scottie named Charlie (13 and a half years old) and hope he can live so long like yours.
Before of him I've had another scottie named Baldovino, but, unluckly, he died at seventh of a cancer.

Laura and I own Basil & Olive. It's 3am and I'm having to blow my nose and wipe my eyes. That video broke my heart.
