I know! He was so awsome! I wish he could havve lived with mew in the tree. and he didnt die! It was just so sad. I remember watching the original Pokemon series when I was 4... Im 12 now and am still obsessed with Pokemon. I have changed my favorites a few times, but I Am forever going to keep lucario on my top favorite list. if they make another Lucario form, I would be so happy! but I just wish he didnt die and wouldnt go away untill the fourth gym leader. main one is winning battles but if you wnat an early evolution spend as much time just like an egg. Walk around and give it a sooth bell. once it's happiness gets high enough it shpoudl evolve on teh next level it gains

That works too. it increases their happiness like crazy. But my methods are for if you wanna practically do nothing. xP giving it the food type it likes to eat also helps as well. Otherwise Use Cycle Path and use one of the lanes that is free all the way to the bottom. You push up for a few seconds eahc time then let Go.
