FYI God, in the sense that religion attempts explain it, isn't real. If you care to believe in a religion its a nice tool to act as a moral human being. Otherwise, religion has been the single vector of warfare and death throughout history. This is a fact and can not be rationally argued.

@n987 Because you obviously dont really know much about true christianity, and not the 'evil' christianity you have been programmed to see. The "vatican" for instance, is NOT christianity. The evil christianity is the product of manipulation, by evil people. With this view, how could you not come to the conclusion that christianity & God for that matter, are "evil"?

George Orwell wrote this book around 1948, 49 so he had wind of it. But that doesn't matter, he's still a genius never the less.
