I recomment replacing the tom mics into a different position (closer to the rim) to get more attack, and put up the volume a lil' bit, you got very much muffling going on there :P.

yo i've got the cad mics too. how did u mount the bass drum mic to the floor tom? And what kind of bass drum mic do u have?

For the floor tom, i used a mic clip i had from another bassdrum mic kit (very cheap)... Actually i have 2 mics, one inside the bassdrum (Equation Audio) used to get the "attack" and a bit of punch and a Shure Beta 52A placed at the port hole, at the limit between the outside and the inside of bassdrum...

how to i get my toms to sound lower like that, do i like tune them lower or buy new heads or a new drum or what?

It's all about tuning my friend :) It also depends on what drum shell you have and so on. For me, the best way is to start with the resonating head very loose, just to the point you begin to hear a sound, after that you go with the batter side and do the same thing trying to match up the vribration with the reso head. As soon as you get the 2 matched, you begin tightening them very slowly to get to the sound you want... It works for me :)

For the drumless versions, i don't remember exactly, but google "drumless tracks" or "play along drum tracks" and you should find some :) For the toms mic volume, i'll be adjusting them on a next version :)
