No, if you get injured at boot camp, you get sent to MRP, where you stay there until you recover. The nightmare situation is breaking a leg or an arm in the middle of boot camp, you'll be staying at boot camp forever to recover, and then continue on. Being in there can drive recruits insane, it would to me.
What if you fail the physical fitness things. And you aren't able to do what the di's tell you. Or if u just get sent home because u failed it. Would u be able to go to boot camp again?

izaak1011nsa is right, you really don't want to have a major injury during bootcamp. They'll keep you around if you have a chance of recovering and want to be there. You have to fail pretty hard to get kicked out, if you do there's not much chance of going back.
if you get hurt during boot camp the only way u will go home is if u get really really really fucked up if u just break a bone theyll just keep u in another platoon if u fail the pft they will put u in another platoon where they will make sure u get in shape fastest way to get out of bootcamp is to finish it

Marines have 13 weeks of hell intense training and shit but also i think you have to go to the SOI or the school of infantry which makes it more longer every Marine is a rifleman
every marine a rifleman was the idea when the corps was first founded. but these days the basic rifleman skills you learn in boot camp and mct are designed to give them a better understanding, and appreciation, for our history, and what the real infantrymen do.
you're not a real rifleman unless your mos says 0311.

Boot Camp isn't physically hard. Its mentally hard more than anything. And airforce basic training being more mentally challenging than USMC boot camp........ that's a big NO!
I can't, i'm a marine, besides I knew a marine at my mos school who did 4 years in the airforce and he said marine corps boot camp was way tougher than airforce basic was. I had a friend name devon who went in the AF and he told me basic was easy as hell. I mean there's a reason why after I get out, I can join any branch without going through their basics right? You would have to go through it all. But it's whatever, I respect everyone in any branch cas you sacrifice a lot being in the military.
You gotta be kidding... air force has the EASIEST bootcamp out of all of the branches. The most mentally and physically challenging bootcamp is the Marines by far. 12 weeks of hell compared to 7 weeks of air force i think it is? Why you think everyone calls it the chair force?
USMC bootcamp is known for its mentally challenging ways, ever hear of The Crucible? It's the last challenge before you become a marine. You only eat once and have 4 hours of sleep for 2 days+, yet you do all types of activities and march for 40 miles. Tell me something that comes close...
eat once and only 4 hours of sleep for 2 days.... minus the eating 3 times a day (eat only for 2 minutes) the whole time i was going off of 3 hours of sleep for a week. that was the most difficult part for me. n i couldn't tell ya how many miles we marched, but i can bet it was around 40. it seemed like we did more marching than anything else
Well technically the whole process is the bootcamp. Navy basic training is what your talking about. Marine SF is a bootcamp but in order to become one you need to go thru basic training bootcamp.
This looks something like the summer warrior challenge I went through this year. Had 3 DIs there, MMA instructors there, had a humvee, a few weapons, and ran an IST. Said it was a good example of what basic training will be like. I will find out soon enough, going to basic at Paris Island Sept 14th.

I went to Devil Pups, which is basically a 10 day minibootcamp at Camp Pendelton.
That was quite the experience.

@Vietboy1st Well I wanna be a Navy SEAL, and even I know that the pj's have harder training my friend. They have the highest washout rate, I advise you to chek em out. They also have the highest morality rate, so that makes me respect them even more.

It is like ooh i don't want to go to navy boot camp to able to join the BUD. I want to join the Navy and go straight to Bud training. That's why the air force PJ training have higher rate drop out.. Air force is not a place for pain. Have you ever visit Air force chow hall ?They are the best than other branches also AF chicks are pretty too.

@Jakmehauf With all do respect, Navy Seals are great but there is nothing like Marine Corps Reconnaissance. A standard USMC O311 (Grunt) can compete with the likes of any Navy Seal.

I can't, i'm a marine, besides I knew a marine at my mos school who did 4 years in the airforce and he said marine corps boot camp was way tougher than airforce basic was. I had a friend name devon who went in the AF and he told me basic was easy as hell. I mean there's a reason why after I get out, I can join any branch without going through their basics right? You would have to go through it all. But it's whatever, I respect everyone in any branch cas you sacrifice a lot being in the military.

You gotta be kidding... air force has the EASIEST bootcamp out of all of the branches. The most mentally and physically challenging bootcamp is the Marines by far. 12 weeks of hell compared to 7 weeks of air force i think it is? Why you think everyone calls it the chair force?

the mental side almost got me, and im not an easy one to crack.
i've told some soldiers what i went through and they were like "wow im glad i didn't have to do that"

USMC bootcamp is known for its mentally challenging ways, ever hear of The Crucible? It's the last challenge before you become a marine. You only eat once and have 4 hours of sleep for 2 days+, yet you do all types of activities and march for 40 miles. Tell me something that comes close...

eat once and only 4 hours of sleep for 2 days.... minus the eating 3 times a day (eat only for 2 minutes) the whole time i was going off of 3 hours of sleep for a week. that was the most difficult part for me. n i couldn't tell ya how many miles we marched, but i can bet it was around 40. it seemed like we did more marching than anything else

Yeah i know SEALs BUD/S is harder then it, but BUD/s isn't bootcamp. You have to be in the Navy to be a SEAL so you go through Navy Bootcamp

Well technically the whole process is the bootcamp. Navy basic training is what your talking about. Marine SF is a bootcamp but in order to become one you need to go thru basic training bootcamp.

This looks something like the summer warrior challenge I went through this year. Had 3 DIs there, MMA instructors there, had a humvee, a few weapons, and ran an IST. Said it was a good example of what basic training will be like. I will find out soon enough, going to basic at Paris Island Sept 14th.

haha yeah, that lady was going so easy. expecially compared to the DI at the summer warrior challenge i went to. people say they saw the guy foaming at the mouth when he screamed at the poolees. he was yelling at one recruit while dowing pushups and got so low to the ground that his hat came off. theres no joking a round when a DIs hat comes off, thats when you know your in deep shit
