I was 4 when this aired, and still living in Irmo. People that weren't alive back then really don't know how HUGE the disco craze was back in the late 70's until about 1981. It was EVERYWHERE!! You couldn't escape it. Columbia was no exception...
I remember even one of Columbia's radio stations became a "Disco Music" 24/7 station. Disco was big and quite different musically in the beginning. The beginning was more melodic with a full orchestra and an R and B feel. Toward the end it became more techno oriented and lost it's heart and soul.
You have got to be kidding me. This group is one of my all time favorite female groups. I had no clue there was a visual of them. I love this group. Thank you for sharing.
wow thanks for sharing this clip....I notice you also have a partial clip on this must be love...can you share that too? i would be willing to pay for copies of some of the disco shows. any plans on selling copies?
Thanks! I do have a somewhat damaged copy of "It Must Be Love" and I'll probably upload it when I get the chance. I do have both full and partial copies of my old "DANCE" series, but I'm not comfortable selling them - give me time, I'll upload it all eventually.
I am mainly interested in the two alton mcclain songs....or any other live disco acts on the shows....i have plenty of clips to share with you...if you feel more comfortable trading dvd's rather than selling. thx william
Increible!! no pensé ver una presentación de este grupo, pero al fin lo encontré. Muchas Gracias por poner el video!! Felicidades!! thank u for posting this incredible video!!! Hugs from México City!

@snlgriggs - I might get killed by most people for saying this, but "YMCA" killed disco. That song drove a nation absolutely crazy.
