Awesome playing man. Really need to know how to get that nice sound of the EP. Its nicely chorused. Very cool sound. Sounds a bit like RD1000. Please let me know hot to do it or where to download it. What is exactly the Opl 3. Is it hardware or software?
@MrXnews2 That's right it's jsblues.mid! I got this file from OS/2 Warp 4 on an old IBM 486 desktop many years ago. I like to use the OS/2 midi files to demo synthesizers because most of them were actually played on a real keyboard unlike most midi files that just use the written music.
@opl3toshiba No wonder they sound so good! Did IBM make the MIDIs themselves, or did they contract them out like Microsoft did for Canyon.mid/Passport.mid?

Very good! This MIDI file, JSBLUES.MID [or similar], was included with OS/2 Warp 3 & 4, as well as OS/2 2.21 with Multimedia.

Here the OPL3 synth truly sings. Cool!

Finally! Something which makes use of the OPL3's rarely used features to give rather DX-7 styled instrument sounds.

Again, most impressive.
