I ride a 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan Meanstreak 1500. Handles, accelerates and brakes way better than my previoius Harley Duece and cost a lot less too. Put V&H straightshots on and it rocks. Besides, great roads don't care what kind of bike you ride. And ya I trailer to Sturgis from Houston. Don't want to be sick of riding by the time I get there!
I bet half of you dont even own a bike! and a third of you who do, and are preaching about how people need to get a harley, are riding a fuckin yamaha!
Great Job! I was born in Sturgis on 7 Nov 56. I rode my 1977 KZ 900 from Sacramento to Sturgis solo 1978. Stock seat...bears almost got me in Yellowstone. Then had the opportunity to work for Sturgis PD in 1978, it was nearly the end of the "Bad-ass Biker" and the start of the Winnebago Biker. Some of the people were great, some weren't. The Black Hills are awesome year round. Nicest folks in the world."Ride to Live...Live to Ride"
The second song is called "Learned to Ride (The Motorcycle Song) by Tim Wilson, Album: Hillbilly Homeboy.

Harley sucks! They break down all the time, and are way overpriced. If you want a dependable bike, get a honda!

Had three Honda's then got a Harley and listened for the last three years to ass__les like you on a Honda who wished they could afford a Harley.
