I read her book; it is very good. From reading the some of the comments, it is evident that many who are making remarks have NOT read the book.

This book has nothing to do with radical black nationalism or anything like that. If you read this book, you'll understand some of the conflict that the President had with his former minister, that Jesse Jackson Jr. has with his famous dad, etc.

Interesting that Michelle Malkin and the McCain campaign just discovered this October 1 or so. This video was added on Sep 17. Ifill talked about he book in the Washington post on Sep 4. And there were reports as far back as July and August.

Either the complaints about Ifill's book and her moderating the VP debates are completely phony, or the McCain people are not very alert. Can they really be asleep at the wheel?

Ifill was chosen by the *bipartisan* Committee on Presidential Debates. That committee is co-chaired by the longtime head of the Republican National Committee.

She has been talking about her book for months ( See July AP story ).
