Sheer class,I was at the front which was brilliant but things sounded a bit muffled at times you couldnt here midges guitar much,but from upstairs it sounds superb,great post.

Me and my band are trying to do this one, as I smile to myself cos were a bit crap at it...need to practice. What it is John's got his own version lol and I cant follow him...laughing! So I suggested to record it so I could practice and adjust the vocals to suit. HELP!

Brilliant post, I never thought I would get to see Ultravox return. I always like to be at the front at gigs but the bass is just too much for the camera mic. Looking forward to seeing the Return to Eden show at Hammersmith on the 24th.

I was there, great musicians , great concert -but too much bass and at times poor sound quality - but hey they could show some of today's bands how to play real live music!

For the first time at a gig there I was upstairs and although lacking a wee bit in atmosphere I think the sound was better.

I loved the heavy bass. So did my daughter. I think they will have ironed out the mixing glitches by the end of the tour. It was expected as this was their first time together in many years, plus using new technology. Plus the guy on the mixing desk needs to concentrate a bit more on what he us supposed to be doing. Still a fantastic gig though.
