I am looking for the intro for 1990 91 nature of things as I was shot walking along Front street by Union Station....raybans, shirt and tie. I knew what they shooting by the fact that a 35mm low angle shot so I acted the role..lol
Does anyone have the intro for 1997 or 1998 or closing credits? Beautiful slow cello intro, funked cello slapping closing! Does nayone know the musicians?
It was David Suzuki's show originally, he was just the host of the program, at least at that time. He was also the second host of the program starting in the mid 1970s or so.
I had been looking for this for years. I remember digging through the TV guide in the 80s looking for this show so I could hear this theme. Then it was so bitterly disappointing when they changed it.
What's spooky about this? Anyway, I enjoyed seeing this opening after so many years. I remember mid-80's Sunday afternoons watching PBS in Upstate NY. Several hours of classic Dr Who, followed by The Nature of Things with this opening. Ah, nostalgia..

This show inspired me greatly. Inspired me to be a skeptic but also a believer in hard evidence.

The theme was performed by The Canadian Brass or the CBC Orchestra.

By far, the most informative Nature series during the early 1980's.

I should say that it wasn't David Suzuki's show originally, unfortunately you can't edit comments on here.
