Do you do this regularly (up and B) or did you prgram the C stick to use special moves? I cn only do this with the C stick. I think it might be how long you hold up B....
How do you do this? It's wierd because when I try, after Yoshi throws an egg, he has a lag time before he can double jump! I tried to do this but died when I needed to Double Jump. Any Tips?
Make sure you're going for height rather than distance, if you let yourself fall too low then you'll die every time. It takes some practice and even I can only do it about 60% of the time.

I never really looked into it enough to know you could program the C stick for special moves. I just did it normally with up+B.

Going up to the first ledge is always easier than going horizontal for 2-3 seconds and THEN going up even higher.
