An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG @ samzurick*dot*com contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers". THANKS!!
lol, I understood everything in the movie except the last scene. I thought it was just an ironic twist that a younger version of the scientist had been so close to the virus, and that her having a boring insurance job back then was a joke. But I get it now I've read the explanations.
The only think I don't get now was the toothless bum. Did he find some way to communicate with volunteers wherever and whenever they are ?
@Houston1120 THe worst part of that scene that made me cry is that he was a child, watching his own death. To watch your own death would be the worst death in the world. But, I don't know why the Future would send him back as a child after the event of the virus, but altogether, that was the reason I cried... You really cannot make me cry alot, but this did.
Good God!!! This man's music is so brilliant. I can't listen to this without a dry eye. I am a classically trained violinist who left that creatively imprisoned world to become an improvisational musician. I've been playing around with this piece, trying not to step on the beautiful voicings and rythmns. He said it all! That's all I've got to say. Although, it would be an AMAZING ballet!?
I always ask those I show this movie to: in the ending scene: 'who is that little boy? What is his name?' 100% do not know the answer on first seeing of the movie. Beautiful scene and music.
ending made me cry, all that, and it ends with the boy, james, watching a plane fly away, a plane that will land, a man will get off, he will destroy everything. its just so sad :(
@supah1337B actually, the movie has a very hopeful ending, and I choose to see it as a positive one,,,watch the scene where they are on the plane at the very end again...you will recognize another character, and listen to what "she" says her profession is :)
@darilek yeah i kinda thought that she might have a positive agenda, but he'd already opened one of the cannisters.. So maybe she was there to make sure that she maintained power after the outbreak, or maybe she was really there to stop him. But the cynic in me says she wasn't there to help, as most insurers are essentially in it for the business, not the humanitarian effort... :S
@NoToTheYayo yeah and it seems to go against the continuously dystopian way in which it depicts the situation, but I couldn't really rationalize a better reason for her to be there (and say what she says) unless she was "insurance for humanity." I didn't really see a scenario where humanity would want to be forced to subsist underground, and so I just surmised that she was there to stop the disease from spreading (they took so much care to outline the route by which it spread too!)
@NoToTheYayo however, having said that, one of the greatest things about cinema is that everyone comes in with a different set of experiences, judgments, and expectations, and that everyone can derive their own significance and meaning. perhaps I shouldn't have come across as absolute as I did, mostly I just wanted to note that scene because most people are so caught up in the drama that they miss that part of the scene entirely :)
My take on it is negative. I think she and her comrads were just after the pure strain of the virus with the same steel will they had used to survie and also to instilled in James Cole. I saw no hopeful slant in the ending at all, only continuity. How may time have you seen this movie? I have seen it over 100 times, maybe over 300 times.
@4Rachy I've seen it at least 100 times too...If they wanted to just perpetuate the system as it was, why bother sending people that actually could endure the travel process and could possibly interfere? They could easily cover it up, or just send people that would end up completely psychotic from shock. And, the final scene...there would be no reason for her to insure their success if Bruce wasn't there, and they should have taken him out before he even got to the airport...right?
@4Rachy And in the same vein, there are plenty of scenarios by which they could have just sent back one of the scientists as a scout or to intercept that virus, all adding Cole or Dr. Railly into the equation does is give them a chance to fail... It seems pretty clear from the looks we do have at the future, they have a pretty steadfast grip on the population already, and I surmise that the government in power would rather fabricate than add a joker to the deck. tell me what you think :)
@4Rachy also, the fact that the scientist is in the plane right after Cole goes down infers that she is there as insurance against Cole failing. His mission was to get a sample of the pure virus, in order to find an antidote in the future. Even if she doesn't prevent the spread, she could still get a sample for the cure. Again, I can't see why they would even need a sample if they already live in the future, where they are in power and (without interference!) history will simply repeat itself
i like his lastname!! i love his music.. it just helps me relax and think and cry and makes sad. but after that all i feel like a million pound weight is off my back, then it comes back
I too love this piece. It always hurts me deeply. Of course I heard it first in the movie for which it was written so I always relive it in that context. In the movie, as it develops, you first hear a little of this love theme, then more and more as it goes along but never its full revelation until the final movie scene, then it is overwhelming, so beautiful. It's hard to believe the views counter: now at 2689. So few for such a deserving work.
Is that a violin or cello?

@Snakemast345 they didn't send him back as a child, they only sent him back once (as a grown man) into the time when he has been a child.
