bazzablue, you'd have to be wanker of the year mate. I 1st heard of the Bazza film an about '72. Its perfectly OK for back then. Everything from that era looks a bit corny now. In London from early 79 onwards, we all acted that way, and wore our Pommy Barstids T shirts with pride :-)
Fair bloody go Baz, it was 37 years ago that I 1st saw the fillum! :-) Its a piece of History mate. Complain about something else, WW2 for instance. It was only 30 years B E F O R E 'that' film :-)
bazza, what do you expect, its from the 60's, you were probably still in your old mans nut sack when this was made. Take it for what it is, a classic late 60's film with 2 australian icons in it, not to forget too, the girl in this clip is a very young Julie Covington, one of britains best singers.

Watched this the other day on BBC4 i think it was, what a waste of an hour and a half,a pile of outdated crap it was, full of outdated stereotypes of British society and of Australians too.Barry Crocker was awful playing an ignorant ocker out of his depth.
Funny film. I'd write a longer comment but need to point Percy at the porcelain, water the horses, drain the potatoes or shake hands with the Wife's best friend.
She Banged like a dunny door is my favourite line. This movie is great, some awesome cameo's in it too.. like Peter Cook... I liked it more than the 2nd.. aussie comedys in the 70's were bonza.

My memory must be faulty after 36 years. I thought the hippy van was called "The Judas Iscariot Chariot".
