L-O-V-E the base at the very beginning, those strums that Mike does. Best band ever, Green Day are responsible for my musical tastes. Ramones, Clash, Sex Pistols, Rancid... I discovered everything thanks to them and their beautiful music. Been listenin to them for 10 years now... Thank you Green Day.
