Even though I've never known having the kind of money that the two people that had taken their own lives knew due to madoff's scheme, I still feel sorry for them. They might have previously dealt with depression and then the situation was just too much to handle. Madoff pulled off a very reprehensible trick on us investors, causing untold damage not only to businesses and families, including mine, but I think you're taking it a bit far with those wishes. Therefore someone is forced to work in order to pay for the debt + interest and left hanging. The money runs short somewhere but money always go up hill to the banks and eventually makes its way to the central bank (federal reserve / private corp). The national debt + it's interest goes to the fed. Imagine how much cash that is on 12.5+ trillion.

Madoff pulled off a very reprehensible trick on us investors, causing untold damage not only to businesses and families, including mine, but I think you're taking it a bit far with those wishes. I certainly hate the man, but I don't want to see anyone be treated like that, no matter what they've done. I think that until investors realize that phantom profits just don't exist then there'll always be another Madoff around the corner, waiting to rip us off.

@downwiz2 I totally agree. The whole financial system itself is a ponzi scheme. The loans are distributed out but the interest is never accounted for. Therefore someone is forced to work in order to pay for the debt + interest and left hanging. The money runs short somewhere but money always go up hill to the banks and eventually makes its way to the central bank (federal reserve / private corp). The national debt + it's interest goes to the fed. Imagine how much cash that is on 12.5+ trillion.
