  • rendering error at 0:20 :(

  • this probly the relax theme out the elder scrolls games

  • mwhahahahah i still have my game

  • If find this easy to masturbate to.

  • Morrowind> All other elder scrolls

  • This theme is so similar to the skyrim one!

  • @HahaGourds Morrowind came [much] before,so the Skyrim one is similar to this one.

  • @OldManNemesis i know, good point

  • @HahaGourds One more thing: Sorry if I looked "unfriendly",that was not my intention.

  • @HahaGourds This is the Elder Scrolls theme. It's also very similar to Oblivion's theme. They first created this for morrowind ofc.

  • I can sadly say I own all the major elder scrolls games.

  • you know, the flying jellyfish cows of Morrowind has some really long udders.

  • A perfect RPG? Skyrim engine and Morrowind world

  • @IAmAtomicKokoro With Oblivions civilization, Skyrims combat and graphics, Morrowwinds Story and Daggerfalls just plain awesome, Bethesda would create the most godly game, even Chuck Norris couldn't handle it

  • All raise for the national anthem!

  • Oblivion was the best Elder Scroll game. It was my first and so it was full of magic. It was also my first PS3 game, and I adored it.

  • @TheDOWfan Oblivion was the first ES game i played and it was the first Xbox360 game i got.

  • @TheDOWfan Oblivion was the first Elder Scrolls game I ever played, but it was just.. off. Skyrim fixed that by making the town flow a bit more.. well, real. Like, you don't just see people walk up to others like "Hi!" "Goodbye." O.o lol

  • this, my friends, is the best theme ever made!

  • this is like castelvania, poypoy and all the oldscool classics... stufck in my heart... MSG ME IF U WANT A PS1 SIMULATOR! (runs old burned cd's aswell. a emulator to PC)

  • YES! Now i can finally watch Morrowind theme in HD!

    Wait...

  • @MrAmokz The quality scales the audio up as well as the video.

  • were is my elder scrolls theme park? Harry potter has one

  • @CoachJohnMcGuirkFTW I think they would have to make a few movies about The Elder Scrolls first :P

  • Morrowind + Skyrim's grafics and combat system = Totally EPIC game

  • Gotta love people that just compare to compare. I love this game with all of my heart and I still fall asleep to a combination of songs from the game itself that I have made into a playlist on my phone from the explore music to this title theme but give it a rest. It's an awesome game and will always make me feel warm inside but just like every other game ever created, it still has it's ups and downs. It's not "IT BEST CAUSE IT OLDER" it's just a great game that DOESN'T need comparing.

  • thumbs up if you heard this song more than once in skyrim :)

  • 14 dislikes of people who have no class. Sorry but this music and game are just so nostalgic. You just cant help but love Morrowind

  • SOME OF THE BEST VIDEOGAME SCORES EVER REMOVED BY ACTA.

  • this epic music brings back so many memories.... I almost shed a tear :)

  • Nerevarine > Dovahkiin

  • This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Epic!

  • i played this game so much i could tell when something whas going to eat me bassed opon how fast the disk was spining in my xbox lol no sound minus the xbox, i loged so much time into this game

  • It's seared into my mind...

  • This is one of those songs my heart sings and beats along to perfectly. So many hours spent with this game. I was that little nerd. lol. Now times have changed.

  • @CooleyProductionz I'd still go back to this and play it any freakin day tho ha

  • I want this played at my funeral regardless of whether or not I'll be mourned.

  • Lol. Sounds EXACTLY like the skyrim theme just without the lyrics. I like that.

  • @bootsuie I think I read somewhere that the Skyrim theme was a mix of the Morrowind and Oblivion themes, with some lyrics added.

  • i really wish they could re make this game (as in just with skyrim graphics and everything else stays the same and the characters stays the same like the argonians and kajiit stays with their beast feet) i would die if they re make morrowind~

  • omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg

  • oblivion is absolutely timeless, from the sword of umbra, to dive rock the game is amazing. skyrim is like the new paradigm on reality with amazing graphics and incredible detail... but morrowind... when that ,isic plays there is just something about the game that beats oblvion and skyrim combined.. i will always love it :D

  • @portugaltheman6 100% agreed. Morrowind is a life changing game :). every time my friends talk about oblivion and skyrim being awesome(wich they ofc are) i always bring up Morrowind but sadly they resent playing it. Their loss.

  • @BigSSantaboy yeah i feel you. its hard to be a true TES fan if you havent played morrowind at some point in your life.

  • This theme can be heard in oblivion

  • i've never played morrowind but this main theme is so freakin awesome. i would love to play it some time

  • If Morrowind had Skyrim combat system, it would be a godly game of unmatched proportions.

  • @TheGreatRakatan God no. Skyrim's combat was so broken.

  • @Iamawesomenorly was better than oblivions

  • skyrim theme is just a ripoff from this :D

  • @Matiben123 All the Elder Scrolls games share a similar beat with the themes.

  • @Matiben123 All the Elder Scrolls themes share the same beat. Listen to the Oblivion theme aswell.

  • @Matiben123 It cant be a rip off if its made by the same people. Its called 'making it fit'

  • Honestly, I haven't played Morrowind since 2004-5. But I remember playing it with my brothers, and this is kinda nostalgic for me. I barely knew how to play it. I need to get it again.

  • Arena: good game

Daggerfall: could of have been better

Marrowind: Sh*ty combat system, but had great music

Oblivion: Great game but took fucking forever to level up!

    Skyrim: F*CKING GENIUS!

  • @Gam3TrailersTV you sir are a failure and have no idea what an RPG is.

  • @Gam3TrailersTV How is skyrim genius and oblivion not?

  • @zulok1337 I think he means they got better over time which makes sense cuz i think he's on with that point at least, but dude make sure to sound legit by spelling Morrowind right :P

  • @FullMetalLineage i doubt he's ever even played morrowind.. and he's probably only played oblivion for an hour.

  • @Gam3TrailersTV You're an idiot. All the games are great. Morrowind is the best I think. Skyrim is amazing but...seriously, the game is so broken. TOO many glitches and bugs.

  • This is " Kill Yourself " music!!!!!!! D:

  • This music makes me feel so. much. Best video game of all time.

  • Better than Skyrim, better than Oblivion...

    This theme is just awesome...

  • lets hope for a remake

  • please can someone tell me if the gameplay is actually good enough to make it worth buying this game, i don't care so much about graphics. thanks.

  • @monkeydark1 Absolutely, it's the best in the series. The combat is different though. It's chance and skill level based, which means if your blade skill is low you can whack an enemy a thousand times and not do any damage.

But the game world is incredible, unlike any other Elder Scrolls game. And it has so much to offer.

  • @monkeydark1 if you like open ended rpg's then definitely. The 'unknown' feeling is great because there aren't any markers so you really get to explore. Sometimes it'll feel weird because the combat is very basic and underdeveloped, but the environments, quests, story, and everything else truly make up for it.

No denying, its more difficult to go back and play older games for the first time, but this one definitely would be worth trying if nothing else.

  • @monkeydark1 it's the best game Bethesda ever made, but it is also the toughest game i've ever played. The definition of an rpg.

  • @monkeydark1 Put it this way: the combat is awful, but it's still in many people's top games of all times list (including mine, at #2). That's just how well it does everything else. If you are playing the game primarily for the combat though, chances are you won't enjoy Morrowind much. I enjoyed Morrowind enough that I couldn't get into either Oblivion or Skyrim.

  • morrowind: alien style world

    cyrodil: midevil world

    skyrim: midevil world

  • @45thedragonheart

    medieval*

  • @45thedragonheart Great comment, i agree 100%

  • This game is so f'king epic! "Sugar is warm and sweet my friend." =^^=

  • ...Morrowind the best out of all the Elder Scrolls games. I'm sorry, but I'm a sucker for classics (*coughandthingsigrewupwithcough*).

  • @IAmAtomicKokoro i too grew up with this game... such memories =)...

  • @xXSephiroth9999Xx Ah, yes, yes! lol The Levitation, the scroll of Flight and then Dying (unless you had a slow fall amulet)...LOL!

  • @IAmAtomicKokoro lol levitation fucking rocked xD btw i survived at the scroll of flight once, i swear xD i was trying to find a way to survive then i used it and landed on a building of the village u start in (dun remember the name) and i still had full life, then i jumped down and the game crashed LOL i still remember it like it was yesterday hahah xD

  • @xXSephiroth9999Xx Ai, ai, I know what you mean. One time, I set it so I would land in water. One time, I landed in a swamp JUST IN THE RIGHT PLACE so I was swimming. LOL! Talk about luck!

  • @IAmAtomicKokoro i mean at the beginning without the slow fall amulet btw xD

  • @IAmAtomicKokoro

by todays standard the game is clunky as fuck but the feeling from that game is epic music is legit best game music forveer n ever <3

  • @Nabolzi I agree. :3

  • @donov25 i think he just means the theme-song itself,

  • @met2oo Oh well yah. Consistency is good.

  • Goosebumps, every single time.

  • I think it's brilliant how Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim have the same melody but have completely different styles. Who composed the music?

  • @llamasnstuff Jeremy Soule.

  • If some peoepl got confused, there IS a part of this soundtrack which is used for oblivion and Skyrim, but just a part of it, not everything is the same..... Hope you got that

  • Possibly the best video game music ever recorded, it gives me goosebumbs whenever i hear it. Far superior to the generic oblivion in every way except the lovely shiny graphics.

  • Everytime when i hear this...when the dunmer wakes me up....LOVE IT ! :3

  • WHY IS IT SO SHORT?! :______________(

  • The memories :___)

  • huh... they all have the same tune. that's actually kinda cool! so every game, they up the ante a bit?

  • I think I just honestly 'broke' the replay button.. I've pressed it that many times tonight it just has the 'loading' symbol... it won't play again :(

  • @LewisB776

had same problem. Check "Youtube repeater" in google

  • memories.

  • ahhhh :D The Netch´s ^^ i remember ... the good old times *snif* D:

  • There may be a lot of debate going around as to which Elder Scrolls game is the best overall, but we can all agree that the Morrowind and Skyrim renditions of the theme song are clearly much better than Oblivion's.

  • still my favorite game of the elder scrolls series. even the morrowind theme is better imo. it has more feeling.

  • Personally I really love the other worldliness of Morrowind than Oblivion and Skyrim. I love Skyrim a whole lot, but the one thing I have to say is that Morrowind's world feels really unique. Skyrim's world is wonderful and great also dont get me wrong.

  • Boner alert

  • fuckin awsome. boner.

  • Chills every time I hear this...

  • the theme for this IS %10000000000000 PERSENT BETER THAN SKYRIM

  • @DgVeTeRaN yer when i heard skyrims, it seemed out of place for a tes game.

  • @colj001 They needed an epic theme for the final game, and this series can be considered an epic. (An awesome journey.)

  • @Kellzofligin But don't get me wrong. I enjoyed Oblivion and Skyrim a lot, they're fantastic games. But they could be so much better, if the they didn't decide to make them that casual. They spent months of work on a beautiful world and then get the player to mostly just click on a map. They created the basis for a lot of great adventures and then merely get the player to stupidly follow an arrow most of the time. These games could have been so much more intense and authentic by so simple means.

  • @Kellzofligin Yes, maybe you can, but that won't get you anywhere. The quests aren't designed to get through them without quest markers, so you don't get any descriptions of how to get to certain places. I've even seen quests where the place you need to go isn't even mentioned. And that's the point. That's just not authentic and takes me really away from the experience. It's the same with quick travels. One quest sends you across the whole map twice or more, the developers didn't consider that.

  • All the TES are awesome, but i really like having no quest marker in morrowind. The quests last longer and you get to read more dialogue. Also having no voice acting means reading the text is faster. And the general atmosphere is very good. However the graphics are outdated. I would say morrowind is best followed by skyrim then by oblivion. They are all great games though...

  • its... its just so beautiful!

  • WHEN I DIE, THIS WILL BE PLAYED AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE.

  • @metaRLinfo SAME BRO

  • I didn´t play Morrowind but this song gives me chills.

  • @1FutureMarine1 Jump Spells are the only mildly interesting thing you mentioned. Silt Striders and Teleportation are just instant travel that you have to pay a paltry sum of gold to use. Besides that, there are boats which are the same as Silt Striders, Mark/Recall and Intervention spells which allow you to instantly teleport from danger, and walking. How wacky. Daggerfall had more skills than Morrowind, so by your logic it's the best.

  • Lol I love how Bethesda just remixed this song for Skyrim.

  • Oblivion was the best imo but this is the best theme out of all the TES

  • I played this song on max volume with bass-boost with high quality headphones. It was too much for me to handle. Too much...

  • this song despite being morrowind's theme makes me wanna shout dohvakiin DOHVAKIIN! xD

  • @SpatanerD Morrowind is the worst game in the series, if only because of it's moronic fanboys that don't realize fast travel was in TES before it was arbitrarily removed in Morrowind.

  • @R0ADKILL2864

Most elder scrolls players that have played all three would disagree.

Morrowind is better off without fast travel. Because they through in the most awesome, and wacky forms of travel.,

Silt striders, teleportation, super jumps, ect..

Morrowind had more items and skill typed than both skyrim and oblivion put together.

They are all epic, but Morrowind, imo, is by far the best. And now with the graphical overhauls/extenders, it is going to stay the best for a long time.

  • @1FutureMarine1 *threw* in, not *through* in.

  • Sons of skyrim was stolen from this

  • @Queekusme Idiot, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim has the same soundtrack.

    Daggerfall is 8-bitty.

  • @UltramanROCKZY since i played oblivion first i loved its soundtrack but just could not get used to it cause i had been playing fallout 3 for like 2 years but when i played morrowind i thought they sounded the same but that i did not know.

  • @UltramanROCKZY Really? Damn, I really thought that they're different...I knew in Morrowind ans Skyrim was the same, but in Oblivion...

  • @UltramanROCKZY wtf those 3 games do not have the same soundtrack ???

  • @whosajigaya they have the same basic melody. just listen to all 3 of them and you'll hear the resemblance.

  • @MrFolkmetalfan I can hear the resemblance between oblivion and morrowind but skyrim ???

  • @whosajigaya listen very hard. you can hear it best right after dovahkiin does his fus ro dah. it's just a lot faster paced.

  • @UltramanROCKZY - Lol, no they don't. There are just parts of certain songs being reused/remixed in Skyrim from Morrowind, specifically the theme from the main song (the one in this video). Oblivion had it's own complete music score with no MW music being used at all.

  • @UltramanROCKZY eh they're all similar but different

  • @UltramanROCKZY

    Get your facts straight before calling someone an idiot ;_;

  • @UltramanROCKZY They most certainly do not. The themes of the main scores are very similar, but you'd have to be out of your mind to think Sons of Skyrim and Call of Magic were the same piece of music.

  • @UltramanROCKZY Also, Daggerfall is 16-bit.

  • @Queekusme Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim have the same sound track but for skyrim they got some people the sing the sons of skyrim song

  • theres no 480p

  • Morrowind theme used in Skyim battle theme, pure epic winzees.

  • good game. almost as good as skyrim

  • @MisterNerevarine Hmm... I was planning on installing the Morrowind Overhaul, gathered together by Kingpix. It is similar to Morrowind 2011, from what I hear... But I will check out the MGE mod. Thank you for the information.

  • Search on google Morrowind Overhaul Graphic & Sound ;) (or Morrowind 2011)

  • Morrowind is the best

  • @MisterNerevarine Woops. Sorry; never played Morrowind before (unfortunately), but I plan to this Christmas.

  • just accept it

  • @MiracleFruitClock hurr durr nu gahmurr

  • @MiracleFruitClock Why must there be a competition between the two? Both are epic.

  • skyrim>morrowind

  • @MiracleFruitClock nice try

  • I have heard many good things about Skyrim and Morrowind both. I haven't played either yet, but I have played Oblivion. Not sure which to try first; Morrowind or Skyrim, but I'm excited about both. By the way, did anyone notice how all three games seem to have the same theme song (or very similar)? And did anyone notice "Notch" written on the YouTube image?

  • @TheRootbeer128 It's actually "netch", the name of those flying jellyfish in the picture, if I remember right ;)

  • A Marine is running towards the enemy. He knows the end is near but he still goes on. He fires his rifle at a enemy, only for two more to take his place. His men fall back, their mission... His mission... to blow the bridge. He reaches the charges only to be shot in the leg. He cannot run, so he crawls, reaches for the button... BOOM! His knee is losing alot of blood. The bridge is gone, and is he...

  • Morrowind is still my favorite The Elder Scrolls. It had a depth that the newer Bethesda games don't have, simply for not having things like instant and allknowing quest markers, a quick travelling system that's available all time and not implemented in the world, and quests that don't require searching or asking citizens on your own, whatsoever.

Therefore, despite its outdated graphics and such, its world is much more authentic than the ones of all Fallouts or TES which came after it.

  • @SpatanerD Agreed. Like 90% of all games released these days Bethesda have gone too mainstream with the gameplay as well as wrecking the interface to work better with dual thumbsticks.

  • @SpatanerD You can turn quest markers off, there are carriages you can use instead of the map's fast travel, and so on.

  • @Kellzofligin

Honestlys most of quests in skyrim isnt giving you directions so it depends on your magical gps

  • @StevenTurner92 Pretty sure it gives you vague directions all the time. Stuff like "northeast of this town" or some such.

  • @Kellzofligin

    Yeah compare that to this

Eydis Fire-Eye tells me that the eggmine is located a short distance southwest of Balmora, in the bluffs west of the Odai River. The old suspension bridge across the Odai is just southeast of the mine entrance. I'm to follow the river south of Balmora until I see the bridge overhead.

  • @SpatanerD fast travel was in arena and daggerfall

  • @iaretheawesomeguy I sure hope to god it was in Daggerfall, the games half the size of the damn UK.

  • @SpatanerD Morrowind is second to Arena to me as being the worst of them. Daggerfall if not for all the bugs was by far the best, Oblivion had the best storyline of them all and Skyrim I think is the most fun to play. Not gonna lie I lost 6 months straight of my life to Morrowind but their ridiculas creatures make me hate it. Guars, Nix hounds, and Alits giant flying bugs. I didn't like the setting very much

  • @TEHWizardsofWoontown Agreed, I think Oblivion's main storyline was the best. Unfortunately, Sean Bean dies - YET AGAIN.

  • @SpatanerD

Ehh, Morrowind was definitely better than Oblovion, but better than Skyrim?debatable.Personally, what you call depth is what I call a pain in the ass.If I play a huge game like TES, I want to fast travel and know where im going. Not having to constantly look at my map screen. That being said, Morrowind was still awesome.Skyrim in my oppinion has taken the crown as the best Elder Scrolls. The game excels in every aspect. Its what Oblivion should have been

  • @zeratul1356

I disagree with you.Morrowind's main quest was so much better than skyrims and morrowind have way more content and freedom

  • @StevenTurner92

To be honest, i didnt find Morrowind main quest to be that great, it was good, not wonderful. How does it have more content?Skyrim lets you do so much more.much more quests and how coes Morrowind give you more freedom? All TES games gie you complete freedom to explore and do whatever the hell you want, how does Morrowind do this better?

  • @SpatanerD ur comment made me play the game. u were completely right.

  • @SpatanerD Indeed

  • @SpatanerD I agree 100%. It was also a much larger game than Skyrim or Oblivion.

  • @chrisciphertaylor It's actually technically smaller. It's just well designed enough that it FEELS bigger.

Not to say it's a small game by any means though.

  • I still love this game <3
