samsung king of the 7 inch tablet and this is clearly evidence of it wish they would do some better work on thier 10.1 tab but then i have an ipad for the full size. if this can call on it like the original 7inch i might consider getting this.

I bought one a couple of days ago and I hate putting it down - I just love finding things to do on it. It's a great size. I really wish manufacturers would stop putting their emphasis on the 10" and concentrate on 7-8" tablets. In fact, I'd go so far as to say 6-7" tablets are a better size, especially if the resolution is good. 1280x800 on this tablet is getting there, but I'd like to see tablets with the next better resolution (at least). Thanks for doing the comparisons.

You mentioned that there is no color change vertically or horizontally.. I've got a galaxy s2 and a galaxy note and they have a greenish tint when tilted.. are you absolutely certain it has no color tint when tilted?

If you do not return them to manufacturers after your review you should announce monthly contest and give away these gadgets to us viewers that way the toxic electronic junks in german soil saved by another piece and some viewers get happy and some viewers get jelous something. :D

Android is awesome, customizable, full of awesome features but, if google doesn't fix the user experience, the large number of bugs and don't make it smoother and with better integration with the machines that run it. Then there is no way to perfection with Android. 1 year from now, I believe that we will se Windows vs iOS/Mac OS. Android is JUST a good introduction to the battle. That's what I believe on.

@supercounterstrike1 There is a reason why Honeycomb never went open source. I have custom ROMs on some Tegra 2 devices that are running at 60fps, all the time! I love the user experience and so do the customers because in 2011 Android devices grabbed 40% of global marketshare. By the end of 2012 Android will overtake iOS on the tablet market but i am also very confident that Win 8 will have a huge impact

Hi is the super amoled better than the oled display? I have the Zune hd and the screen is oled. The oled is fantastic can u say if it is better or not?

super amoled refers to suamsung OLED technology for screens with no extra filters at all. but its the same oled tech, whith better life, contrast, and brightness.

And, something more: TouchWiz doesn't mean that there are several widgets preset on the homescreens. All of them are removable and then you'll have a plain HC experience apart from the MiniApps available from the notification bar, some nice tweaking of the notification menu (shortcuts for Wifi, BT and more) and the screenshot button (of which the action can also be changed to camera start). Then there's also a task manager which can be accessed by keeping the home button pressed. I like TouchWiz

@HackingDutchman Amoled. It is an array of tiny LEDs which emit light of their own, hence no need for back-light, colours look the same from all angles, black is really deep black rather than dark grey (each LED's 'background' is black, no light passing through it as in LCD) and power consumption can be significantly lower (if you have mostly black screen with only some text, only the lit areas consume power, LCD needs all the back light is always on). IPS is just a better LCD.

5.3 is the only size that doesn't fit. On all the other ones Samsung just cuts 1.2 Inches: 10.1 - 1.2 = 8.9 - 1.2 = 7.7 - 1.2 is NOT 5.3!
