For me, the best indication of the Atlantis existence is in almost Geography books in the world: have not you took attention, in the maps showing the format of Gulf Stream in the Atlantic Ocean? This format , at least to me, seems to cover a very large portion of land

For me, the best indication of the Atlantis existence is in almost Geography books in the world: have not you took attention, in the maps showing the format of Gulf Stream in the Atlantic Ocean? This format , at least to me, seems to cover a very large portion of land

Personally, I think Atlantis existed, and was technologically advanced for its time, but none of the science fiction stuff, more like the later early civilizations. I also think they were actually just part of the Minoan empire, partially because of testing that showed something similar of the Atlantean harbor below ground at an island near the Minoan's island of Crete.

My way of thinking is that Atlantis is considered a "Legend" which to me means it has some basis in fact... where as "Myths" do not. Stories of Atlantis have always been refered to as the "Legend of Atlantis"... plus many questioned if the "Legend of Troy" was real or not... up until they actually found it.. You may have heard of Michael Cremo (Forbidden Archeology). His book claims that humans have lived on the earth for millions, or billions, of years. He cites scientific evidence for this as well. Atlantis just like a lot of the old tales. A true account of history passed from generation to generation via the story tellers. Over time, the details were obsfucated for the benefit of the listeners. Unfortunately for the modern generation, we lack the ability to listen to stories.
