Yes they do, that is what I used to use, and what I am using after my crappy harbor freight torch broke :(

People like this guy should be at fireworks conventions showing the public how to setup and use consumer fireworks. The CPSC only shows the dangers of fireworks and gives horror stories from what happend to people using fireworks, they don't show this sort of information to help prevent further injuries. They tell people not to light fireworks and people still use them anyways.

The wind is blowing that bottle rocket around before he even lights it. It could easily blow in another direction before going off. That's an injury (particularly to an eye/face) waiting to happen. Lighting it on the edge and pushing it rapidly into the tube is much better. He needs a course, himself...

I launch my rockets from mortar tubes but when i'm shooting medium sized bottle rockets bigger than the ones in this video I put them directly down inside the tube and the top of the rocket still clears it, they fly up into the air without a problem. Give these videos some respect, politicans find more and more excues to ban fireworks. If more and more people follow what this guy gives for advice politicans wouldn't have much reason to ask for bans on fireworks.
