  • thank u riverside for being in my life

  • Damn i love this song!

  • Great great band!!!!!

  • Night of The Prog Festival 2011 Loreley/Germany was so great. Came just because of Riverside. Dudes, u rock!

I normally like music like Melodic Death Metal, but this.... this is much more better.

    Thank you :)

  • 4 people are from the other side of the river!!

  • this stuff is purely a piece of progressive rock & i love riverside.....simply awesome....keep doing gud work like this....all the best.

  • If you like prog rock check out the Australian 3 piece Cog. They are amazing.

  • Come in Belgrade-Serbia!

  • @Starost07 JAvi mi kad dolaze da idemo zajedno {=

  • U Bugarskoj su svirali! Samo da ih kontaktiramo, nadjemo prostor i pare i to je to! ;)

  • These guys are amazing!..like any other band, I don't care for everything they do, but more often than not, they deliver fantastic music.

  • najlepsze! ;-)

  • i remember hearing riverside the first time a couple years and being blown away. amazing song

  • Well, it's seems like I just found out my new favourite song..

  • Riverside fans should check out the albums "A Fine Day to Exit" and "A Natural Disaster" by Anathema... assuming you haven't already heard of them

  • Just discovered Riverside and I like them alot. Intelligent music with a great sound!!!

  • My favourite bands are Riverside, Pain Of Salvation , Kingcrow and Porcupine Tree...tha latest album by PoS are not so good to me...but Kingcrow are rising up as one of the more interesting prog bands out there. Their latest album Phlegethon is a masterpiece in the same vein of the first albums by POS

  • Polish PROUND !:)

  • if you guys like Riverside, check out PAIN OF SALVATION!!! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE AND VERY SIMILAR TO RIVERSIDE

  • @tehGmoney Pain of Salvation used to be the biggest promise of prog metal but there last 3 albums are constant deterioration, especially the last 2 which are barely prog. Whoever likes Riverside, should listen to other great Polish bands: Animations, Osada Vida, Votum, Disperse, Division by Zero, Satellite

    :-)

  • @TalRudess I understand what you're saying, but I wouldn't call their last three albums a "deterioration." They are indeed totally different from their earlier. At first, I didn't really find Scarsick very "proggy" but surprisingly it is, yet it subtle ways. Although, it's not as heavy and technical as One Hour by the Concrete Lake, Perfect Element, Remedy Lane. Either way, they're extremely talented musicians. Maybe after they finish their Road Salt series, they will adopt a more "edgy" sound!

  • just discovered them prog ftw

  • do zobaczenia w maju w londku

  • I can never be myself... I won't be aware of my curent state before i enter another one... I AM NEVER I

  • @YazoDlack YOU CAN BE YOURSELF, YOU JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DUPLICATE WHOLE UNIVERSE AND PUT IT IN SAME PLACE AND TAME AS THIS ONE IS...................OH NOOOO YOU WOULDN'T KNOW THAT YOU ARE YOUR SELF THEN

  • ave Mitloff - the essence of prog drummer

  • Love the 7/8 that starts at 2:05, sounds so cool.

  • aaaAAAHHHHH Pee on yooouuu!!

Try and tell me thats NOT what it sounds like at 0:09

  • 2 people got drowned in the river.

  • power from poland..

  • Poland rocks!

  • so fuckin' good!

  • Dla takiej muzyki chce się żyć.

  • Comment removed

  • you have failed to add katatonia to the list of greatest bands.

  • FUCK! I just discovered them, when I was on lastfm and watched for artists that are similar to opeth. I'm enthusiastic!

  • swietna piosenka , swietny klimat po prostu swietny zespol

  • Wooow

    In Hungary Riverside was Cooool

Riverside on the ship named A38 :D

    Yeey Geez Awesome!

  • Riverside, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, and Dream Theater are my top four favorite bands of all time. Prog ftw :D

  • @sniperGasMask Mabey I have heard the wrong stuff from Opeth. Those other bands are awsome but from the stuff I've heard from Opeth I dont know why you stck them in to. Can you make any suggestions of albums of songs to change my mind about Opeth?

  • @ahigherstate Most of Opeth's stuff is an acquired taste. I can say that I didn't like them at first, but after listening to them for a while, I love them now. I'd start off with the Damnation album (no death metal), and then to Blackwater Park (a bit of death stuff).

  • @ahigherstate The entire Damnation album to start off with. You can also try the songs A Fair Judgement, To bid you farewell, Coil, Hessian Peel, Hex Omega, When, The Moor, Face of Melinda, The night and the silent water, Nectar, Drapery Falls ...

  • @sniperGasMask dude what about Queensryche?

  • Oh i agree with you here modern prog has some extremely good bands its like the classic era of prog reborn again!

  • @sniperGasMask I can't get into Opeth or DT but those other 2 are fucking amazing.

  • @sniperGasMask Absolutely man!

  • @sniperGasMask

    dont forget Tool :)

  • @sniperGasMask i highly recommend Karnivool to you my friend

  • @Evolution10X Karnivool fucking rocks.. their most recent cd is AMAZING!

  • @FIndelCOB I honestly think sound awake is the best album since lateralus came out

  • @Evolution10X

Totally agree... I'm a big sigur ros fan so i'll still just put sigur ros above Karnivool... but Sound Awake is the best album i've heard in 4 or 5 years... absolutely incredible

  • @gibbonclaw I never heard of Sigur Ros, but will def check them out...im always looking for new music, something bigger & better than before

  • @sniperGasMask No tool?

  • @Evolution10X best bands in this order, porcupine tree, opeth, riverside, blackfield, a perfect circle, tool!

  • @sniperGasMask Wadda bout TooL???

  • @Doa3ggR011

    Yea, wadda bout Tool mothaffucka!!

    ahahah :)

  • @sniperGasMask get rid of d.t. and replace them with blackfield haha!

  • @sniperGasMask porcupine tree, opeth, riverside, blackfield, a perfect circle! Dream theater is just garbage no offense just how i feel!

  • @PuReNiRvANA1 Imo Dream Theater makes a lot of masterpieces, but there is sth missing in their music. I think it's... emotions and soul.

  • @PuReNiRvANA1 Blackfield definitely is in my favorites. I just didn't listen to them much when I posted that comment a year ago. :P

  • @sniperGasMask I have basicly the exact same top 3. hi5 my friend.

  • @sniperGasMask forgot Tool????

  • @sniperGasMask you must like Tool??? APC, Deftones, all those bands in that genre im guessing? If you haven't heard of a band called katatonia, u may like them. cheers

  • @sniperGasMask All fantastic bands :D

  • @sniperGasMask No Tool? Come on, dude.

  • @sniperGasMask

    Yup, very good agree :)

  • @sniperGasMask

    Yup, very good agree :)

  • Amazing song wtf !

  • holy fuck, this is amazing

  • listen to this when your trying to go to sleep. just do it

  • yeah, feels pretty weird.

try "renholder" from a perfect circle, same effect ^^

  • bestial... :X

  • that begining was soo epic

  • I KNOW! This song is freakin' incredible. This proves real musicianship is not gone. This whole album rocks.

  • I really love riverside, all their music somehow speaks to me more than any other band. out of myself and rapid eye movement are my faves so far

  • i love this! although,

The Time I was Dreaming is my favorite... but i can't find it on youtube.

im bummed out not all their stuff is sold in US stores.

  • its The Time I Was Daydreaming by the way.... :)

  • Remarcable! What a great piece. I really should get this album.

  • love riverside, out of myself is one of my favourite albums, i doubt they can top it, but this first track seems promising!

  • ..wow. now this is unque, man i love all in this band, especially that bass sounds!

  • never heard of them till that "genius" app on itunes put me onto them. sounds pretty promicing. big thumbs up from me

  • try 'out of myself', its a phenominal album!

  • awesome!

  • It is really sad Riverside aren't so well known. They have some of the best progressive rock/metal albums ever made.

  • @turnerguru if you knew all the evil and ignorance of this world wouldn't you want to remain unknown too?

  • @turnerguru I agree

  • I am so excited I just ordered this cd.

  • This one is my favorite and the first that I listened of them XD The best part is the 0:55.

  • Riverside ftw.

    Great album opener.
