I think the breaking up of the Union has begun, do you think that Scotland Wales and NI are going to be happy to stay they way they are...No they are going to want to break away from England in the long run. Plaid has already said they want this and the SNP and we all know about NI....The majority of the Brits are apethetic about what is happening.

I agree with you but i think it will survive. At the moment the majority do not take whats happening in Scotland seriously, the SNP are just an annoying distraction thats always going on a rant

When they actually introduce the referendum into the Scottish parliament and it has to be approved, thats when people will wake up and do something about ensuring the union survives, the implications of a break up are just too great

Defeating the SNP in 2010 must be the number 1 priority for government

Millions of people have died fighting for this union its so depressing that we could sleep walk into a break up of the coutnry.

Despite this country having lots of problems, and whilst i disagree with labour on many issues, we really have no choice but to elect labour back to government. The SNP want a tory government as it helps their argument

We need a Scottish prime minister and labour who have a strong hold in Scotland to secure a decent majority in the referendum.
