  • 4 ppl like marboro....... oh wait..... 5

  • I'm over 40.. and I love it.. ;)

  • Glad you all like it. I wore the album out before your daddy was born!

  • It's not about your age it's simply about the music

and this music is just fiiiiine

  • I'm 16 but who gives a fuck? This song is awesome

  • No word can describe this song...

  • incredible song!! sounds like a cavalry stampede at the 9:10 mark on.

  • @pinkzeppelintheater Does it still count if I'm 21? :)

  • @ninjawish6561 I really hope so because I'm 21 too, and I find this awesome!

  • WHO PRESSED THE DISLIKE BUTTON!?? DAMN YOU FKER!!!

  • 5:10 Epic

  • Thumbs up if you're listening to this high - not because of drugs, but because the second you noticed that a forty-year-old progressive rock classic has over 99% likes on Youtube in 2012 put in a state of extreme euphoria and re-instilled your hope in humanity.

  • I've noticed my favorite songs have no lyrics for at least the first two minutes.

THIS is music. Not a 4-minute pounding on drums session and screaming like an idiot. This has MELODY. It has RHYTHM.

Rule of thumb: if it was played in the sixties or seventies, it's most likely better than anything on the current Billboard 200.

  • I'm 19 and basically listen to nothing but music from 60s, 70s and early 80s and I get the feeling I'm not the only one

  • @Possesssed666 Great, but there's great music nowadays too.

  • @1000tumppi That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. A narrow minded one.....but it's yours.

  • @leproghead haven't heard any of those and if I haven't heard of'em, they are not worth of listening... pure SHIT

  • dougs fergs

  • 01.22 sounds like the doors. oh how I love Camel

  • To say this is the first song ive listened to by Camel...is a disservice to progressive rock. Must.try.harder.

  • I grew up with this band (and other prog rock types) . I still love 'em!

  • Lovely.

  • Roloooooon, sin duda geniales.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • My dad first turned this song on for me when I was 5 years old and told me all he knew about the band and prog rock. It was an unforgettable introduction. Love it.

  • Saw you walking on a whirlpool,

From the corner of my eye,

    I saw you.

Saw you sitting on a sunbeam,

In the middle of my daydream,

    Oh my Lady Fantasy,

    I love you.

  • Absolutely incredible!

  • I pitty those who cannot enjoy the brilliance of such music ... this is music as it should be, deep, meaningful, fucking brilliant !!!!

  • Oh my lady fantasy

    I love you

  • hymn of group in young days :)

  • Camel es un grupazo!

  • Rusty venture sent me here

  • One of my favorite songs of the 70s! It's probably on the top 5 best prog rock songs for me! God damn they are so good!

  • Soo much talent hidden in the shadow of a camel......

  • awesomely amazing ! dance over your octopusly head one more time 0:00

  • camel just touched the sky with this song

  • ww.ted.com/talks/john_bohannon_dance_vs_powerpoint_a_modest_proposal.html

Great plan, the benefit of artists together in the science of understanding! The value of art along with the value of the soul is being lost in so much disagreement on the trail calling anything creative, there is more value placed on real understanding as there is more value placed on real art that comes from this deep and want to see and Huge and do so ... Being

  • the part between 11:46 and 12:04 sound like the chord progression from Cornelius by the Bloody Beetroots. I smell a lawsuit

  • I often think which is the best prog rock song of all times - it's either this or Thick as a brick by Jethro Tull or then King Crimson's In the court of the Crimson King. In any case, this is something so good and brilliant that I can only hope some day someone will compose something like this again. Especially, the ending part is simply breathtaking...

  • @urpoukko Please ! I your favoures but this differrent!

  • @KOSTAS311070 All songs you say are just beutifull. its long time ago i didn't hear King Crimson and i'll do it now!

  • The one person who disliked this is FOREVER ALONE!

  • UOHH ANNI che non la sentivo. bei tempi

    thanks

  • Beautiful

  • @pinkzeppelintheater under 18+

  • Bought the ALBUM in 1975 and still one of my favorites of all time. Its a great band performance ! all the guys are cooking and playing tight together ! Andy: underated by a mile ! gr8 guitarist. Peter playing beautiful keyboards with good sounds ! RIP Peter Bardens ( buried in the Forever Cemetery in Hollywood CA). Drums n bass so together ! Brilliant music

  • 1993 i first heard that masterpiece i still looking at the sky and still wondering why? Wondering why all the good human feelings this music brings out goes away.

  • Yeah!!! We LOVE this stuff!!! Here at Lobate Scarp, we are keeping prog alive!

  • Hay se da Un tiro con UFO!!!!

  • One of our guys selected this and some other Camel tunes for motorcycle drag racing's website SATURDAY NIGHT CONCERT. Dragbikers have good taste in music.

    Tom Loughlin Jr, Utica NY

  • 00:46 is heavenly. Godly. Some fucking intro!

  • Who was the monster who dislike this song!?

  • This is one of those songs that gives me goosebumps when I listen to it, specifically the part starting at 9:06......

  • Try doing this, listen to it right as your on an airplane taking off! It will give you goose bumps

  • @lumberdoktor yeah, if you can use your iPod during takeoff

  • yeah!

  • 1 dislake: i think God is envious.

  • Wow. It's kind of embarrassing. Almost as bad as Journey's "Kohoutek."

  • pam pam parararapapaaaaam pam pararaaam para para pa pam! :)

  • More instrumental albums? Huh? The only pure instrumental album they ever did was the snow goose and even that had some wordless vocals on it. It's their instrumental passages that smoke(just like with most great prog bands).

  • I had to take a shit halfway through the song, but i didnt want to pause it so i almost shat myself

  • This is such an amazing song

  • from 09:10 EPIC

  • @MilleniumOfSnow :) :) YEEEAAH :) TRUE

  • fantastic what a song

  • This is total KSHE -95 song takes me back to class where we could play music he was such a cool teacher he would say stuff like how does this music make you feel and told us we had to write stuff about it. He was such a Hippie at heart ;)

  • "I Just wish they'd continued like this instead of the more instrumental albums."

Maybe you've never carefully listened to "The snow goose"...

  • i pity the (one) fool!

  • one my favourites albums ever. Yet i am a weirdo

  • Cross your eyes while watchin the album cover ! Also a trip for your eyes....

  • I've discovered Camel just today and I truly feel like I've been looking for that kind of sound all my life. Already ordered a few albums via Amazon. :D Probably the most underrated band in history. Progressive symphonic rock at its best.

  • Fucking Pure Love

  • At First I Thought I Had Induced Some Shrooms. Now I Realize This Shrooms Have Just Induced This Groovy Jam.

  • My favourite band. They are very underrated.

  • yes this band is like time machine ,great music

  • I love the bass

  • Trip to space and back :)

  • 1 person doesn't know what music is.

  • I've listened to this song like 15 times in the last few days. '70s prog rock is the best period of rock and roll imo.

  • I love it!

  • The best progressive rock song EVER!

  • love this song!

  • This is the greatest prog song of all time. And it was way ahead of it's time

  • anyone who doesn't like this music should seek medical help

  • @john083055 Unfortunately, that is a big part of the population. It frightens me that suck a large portion of people need medical attention. It raises the question of how much better society would function if this was not the case lol. I just wish more people could comprehend this music :( ! Too many people can only understand simplistic, unoriginal, interesting pop music designed to hypnotize the minds of the ignorant masses. Music like this, true music, has so much more meaning and feeling.

  • I first heard this in 1974, shortly after the album came out. It blew my mind then and continues to blow me away still. A prog-rock classic.

  • :O sweet song. It really is a fantasy

  • How a people has dislike this song :'( ?

  • This is a masterpiece of progressive rock.... Awesome!

  • ....this song goes to a lady....fantasy.....

  • yeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • Yes, you're all right - especially about the intro that is the best opening electric guitar riff in history (except for "Natural Thing" by UFO).

  • uno dei migliori assoli di chitarra,un vero peccato che non rientra neanche nelle migliori classifiche

  • Haiku poet Michael Dylan Welsh was talking about Camel on Facebook, so I had to check them out--one of the few prog bands I never listened to growing up in the '70s and '80s. I regret that now. Very nice. The keyboardist and guitarist had the same interplay that made The Doors famous. Towards the end, they utilise a riff that must have inspired Iron Maiden's 'Phantom of the Opera'. Camel deserve more recognition.

  • Thank you, Camel! This is a masterpiece without time...

  • i want to flag this.... as awesome

  • Fantastic 70´s prog

  • Unfiltered progressive rock!

  • @djkobay what? englrish?

  • this is gold!

  • Such an exciting track from a tremendous album!!!

  • Camel is the best!

I wish Peter Bardens didn't left band until he was die..

  • Si supieran los "turistas" frivolos el peligro que tiene el desierto... y no me estoy refiriendo sólo al Sahara, incluso en Estados Unidos
