  • even if did make my own laser harp i still would never be as kickass as JMJ and plus it is dangerous you know....

  • Jerk

  • Thanks for those detailed instructions.

    Idiot.

  • @EggHeadShooter Your comment just made my day xD

  • FYI - he is no longer selling plans for the laser harp. Has entered a development agreement with a laser show company. According to link in video description.

  • @conradaskland Wonder why he doesn't just say that outright then? just wondering

  • are you planning on selling this ones pre-made?

  • Douche

  • So far just a comercial :(

  • How awesome is it to have your own laser harp in your living room!

  • whats the cost?

  • anyone know an artist from warner i can download in revenge for warner being so petty?

  • This is ridiculous.

  • what is the name of this song?

  • "Fanfare for the common man" 1977 reworking by Emerson, Lake and Palmer - originally by Aaron Copland.

  • man it would be awesome to have a portable laser harp.not that I know if its even possible to make one.

  • working on that, mate. ;?)

  • so i maybe buy your plans and code stuff and test out a prototype like that, since those optical things should be quite cheap and i'm sure its a doddle to connect them to USB.

  • it is actually (maybe) possible to make a harp by optical sensors, you know like those things that trigger those powered stairs(dont know what the name is in english, but those stairs you find in malls) by having many of those connected to a USB thing and writing a program. with that its possible to use water, for instance as a harp, since you're only triggering the optical sensors, but the flaw would be that debris could trigger notes and it would not likely work outside,(to be contnued)

  • they're called escalators

  • Could you repeat that?

  • How much would you say the entire build cost you?

  • I built the first one for about $600-700 - but it really depends upon the power of the laser - that's the most expensive part.
