hi i need to ask u something i get everything but when u were doing the sums: SINtheta=sh/s and then u multiplied both sides by s, why did u multiply both sides by s is it cos speed is s?
@Shift4chizzle If X is divided by S, and then multiplied by S, all you have left is the X. (5/2 *2 = 5) So if you begin with a formula Y=X/S, but you want to know X, then you multiply both sides by S, so that you are left with Y*S=X.
This is excellent work but I can suggest that you put this alternative method starting from d = s^2/g 2sin(theta)cos(theta) since sin(2theta)=2sin(theta)cos(theta) d= s^2/g sin(2theta) d'(theta)= s^2/g cos(2theta) * 2 2s^2/g cos(2theta)=0 cos(2theta)=0 cos(90)=0 cos(2theta)=0 2theta=90 theta = 45 d=s^2/g sin(2theta) d=s^2/g *1=s^2 / g
I am very happy to see the vidoe Optimal angle for a projectile part 1 after you give this

@mechan9 This is just Physics and Trigonometry. Plenty of high school students already know this or they should.

Being first to respond, I would like to suggest some videos on calculus based physics, or perhaps partial differential equations.
