  • I'm going to be honest. The Japanese one looks a lot funner. Their sounds a lot funner to sing along with, too.

  • At least the Japanese booth can hold the camera steady and avoid cloverfield motion sickness -___-

  • dude, i wanna be in the japanese booth, much more relaxing xD

  • Actually, both are Japanese style since they are in private karaoke booths. Just because there are Japanese singing doesn't make it Japanese-style...

Western-style is done in front of a bar making it feel uptight, and the majority of people who decide to brave karaoke take it way to seriously.

Japanese-style is more laid back and about having a good time no matter what. It's really all about the alcohol.

  • The Japaroo's aren't too bad.

  • lol

  • umm i dunno i perfer the gaijin ambiance but iv been with japs U student and damn they can get it going too lol

  • That's the reason I don't go to karaoke with other gai jin in Japan.

  • lol wow... so much difference

  • oops didnt realise. have thus changed the term.

  • I do like it. And I do see the difference. It's just the description that is a little off. "JAP" is a derogative term
