Having this video on YT wouldn't stop me buying Liz's albums. It is just a sample of her playing - but what a wonderful expressive piece. Posts like this provide a marketing opportunity for the musician and result in much greater exposure than would otherwise be the case (18,700 views).

Liz Carroll is the most powerful Irish fiddler playing today IMHO. Many others have pulled other world inflluences into the pot, which is cool in a way. But Liz plays it straight like the winds coming in off the west coast of Ireland.

See her if you can. Go to a clinic if she still gives them. She is an amazing player and a really nice lady.
