Fat has 9 calories/gram. On a Keto diet it is optimal to eat as much fat as possible. For example, one could eat 200 grams of fat per day. 200 x 9 = 1800 calories. And that doesn't include the 4 cal/g that protein has. Assuming one eats 100 grams of protein, 100 x 4 = 400.
1800 + 400 = 2200 calories right there.

this video is verrrry misleading. first of all, it doesn't need to be low calorie and you don't need to weight your food at all. and the claim that you won't get enough nutrients for healthy growth is wrong too, unless you're literally eating olive oil and mayonnaise like it shows in this video. eating meat, veggies, fruit, nuts, etc is actually very nutrient dense
Actually, this video is about the Keto Diet as a method of controlling drug resistant epilepsy. It’s not about Keto as a weight loss method. You do have to weigh everything and be VERY specific if you’re trying to control seizures. You can play a little more fast and loose if you just want to lose weight.

because you cut carb in this diet...
