  • Sorry to put it out there but I think if she really knows what shes doing she should know what to say.. An how to explain. -.-

  • 1:40-1:44. Lmbo!

  • if people watching this actually need her to explain what pirrouettes and adagio are, they probably shouldnt be teaching a ballet class...

  • way to pronounce things right.. and forget a lot of important exercises..

  • She even can't dance..

    This isn't real Ballet..

  • stop bashing her, shes cute d:

  • you love to eat, don't you?

  • @xoxBertieSianxox If you want to be really picky, it should be 'de-ga-zhe'. french 'g' is not the same as english 'sh' and the 'e' on the end is 'é' so it is a short 'e'-sound not an 'ay'... but i agree the pronunciation is appalling

  • What happened to fondue and frappés at the bar? and adagio? these videos makes me want to cry sometimes cos they are not doing anyone any good i think... :( sorry to put it out there but...

  • these videos are embarrassing.... She's forgetting half of the "normal" steps, Pronouncing stuff wrong, calling steps the wrong names... christ

  • @Hardmetal1993 - We'll check that out and correct the information - thanks for the heads up!

  • @missiamadancer : wrong...she's pronouncing everything correctly.

  • the dirty floor is distracting me

  • ho my god!!!!!!!!!!! do you really thing that´s right?? is son ignorant!!

  • The problem with these series of videos is the sub titles. The sub titles block the feet, ankles and everything else that is important to be seen in order for one to learn proper ballet technique. Why would you create a learning video with sub titles blocking the important features of learning ballet?

  • @advntrousguy I agree... I was about to say the same thing.

  • @advntrousguy - Thank you for the suggestion! We definitely will look into the matter and make the proper adjustment!

  • @FionaJacqueline : She isn't mispronouncing "dégagé"...how in the world do you think you're supposed to say it?

  • i have canadian and american ballet teachers, and the american teachers call it "adagio" while the canadian teachers call it "adage" ((:

  • i am ballerina !!!!!!

  • She awsful cant balence cant left her leg high glad she aint my teacher!!

  • shes pretty bad..

  • eleve is used alot. its a releve from a straight leg.

  • I'm wondering why any of "you" that are critical in comment do not have your own instructional videos?

    ??

  • i agree

  • Completely agree...

  • Fondu and frappè don't exist in her class ?

  • It's only the very basics at barre... One can do a lot more there... but thats the most important stuff

  • she's pronouncing half of the steps wrong, and at the barre, it looked more like a glise than a degage to me.

  • @EvAisSuperAWESOME no shes pronouncing it right. and she's doing degages correctly. or atleast that's how i learned them.

  • @02savedbygrace the way she's pronouncing things isn't how I've heard them, and I've had four different ballet teachers, although it might just be her accent. She seems to be stressing the wrong syllables.

She seems to be losing contact with the floor on her degages, it's hard to tell with the subtitles blocking her feet, but thats how it looks to me.

  • @EvAisSuperAWESOME : Actually, her prononciation is very good, so perhaps you've just had teachers that don't know what they are talking about...?

  • @Stradno1 i'm prettty sure my teachers know what they're doing. It might be an accent thing, because i'm australian, but i swear she pronouced the 't' at the end of 'battement'

  • 'elevés" wtf?

  • it is releve without plie

  • thanks, during my 15 years of ballet i have NEVER heard that term

  • It's like a relevé without the plié, if I'm not mistaken. Teachers don't use it very much though.

  • they're more likely to call it "rise"

  • I think at 1:06 she meant crutch...

  • port de bras - arm movement of the body? whaaaaaaat?

  • Good ear. I didn't even hear that mistake.
