  • THEIR ONLY GOOD STUDIO THEY SUCK LIVE JUST LIKE TRACI GUNS. I LIKE ITS OVER NOW BY THE GUNS & THIS . STUDIO. VERSION ONLY PLZE

  • cuando la MTV ponía música de verdad..! que tiempos!

  • Never ealised they were on here. But I have met him numerous times over the past few years as i work where he does occasionally and had many cups of tea with him and family. And thats not bullshit.

  • This song suuuuuuucks.

  • @Epsilon15 This song rocks but you suck faggot :D

  • See how Izzy left GNR and started a band kinds like this, but more in the Bob Dillon vein.

  • Saw them at High Voltage last year... met Spike backstage and got autographs and photos...

  • saw them live on saturday :D

  • awesome band!

  • awesome band!

  • Download the audio from this clip at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • Thanks for posting, the original is so much better!

  • Thanks for posting this.....cross between Aerosmith with Rod Stewarts voice

  • I'm pretty certain this is the original version with Ginger from the wildhearts on guitar before he left. It also features the original drummer too. thats why it's like this and not as it came out on the album, but I do seem to remember a limited edition with this on rather than the other version.

  • @phil13johns You're correct, this is the original with Ginger and Coze from 1988,

I saw them on the tour that promoted the single in my home town (I still have the t-shirt too) and have followed them ever since.

  • Fantastic band, pitty about the quality of this video, recorded straight off the telly probably! Doesn't do it any justice

  • These guys aren't as good as Guns'n'Roses are but they're pretty cool, they play real tough rock'n'roll like Faces did back in early 70-s. I like them more then all those moronic clowns of American hair-metal of late 80-s - early 90-s like Pretty Boy Floyd, Britney Fox and Winger.

  • @1996holyshit I'll take the Quireboys over gnr any day of the week! Then again, they're not the same style of music either. Spike is a much better singer than Axl though and gnr have what one good album?

  • this is crap the original is better the sound is crap in this !!!

do the fucken track justice and upload a good version.

  • @TheTempestSpark

This is the original version from 1988, the album version came18 months later.

  • @14rnr I loved this Band when I was about 15 or 16 but I couldn't find the better version of this song anywhere! & I really wanted to hear it, I was very very drunk :) I eventually found it & played it loud! I had the friends round. Cheers!!

  • @TheTempestSpark Sweet, take it easy over there.

  • go to our channel with a brand new interview from 2009 with the quireboys AWESOME STUFF And please subscribe :)

  • i actually heard the faster version of this song, it was a live performance if i wasnt mistaken, but this version is sill cool.

  • @scherif70

actually the album version was slightly faster... but this demo version is sooo precioussss! :)

  • Do you have any news on the guitarist Guy Bailey?

  • They could have been a great band instead of an average band if they had managed to keep hold of the mighty Ginger...his songwriting skills could have taken them to other levels...still love this tune

  • they are still a great band

  • This bands are way better than the today's crap and they are even better than some of rockbands from the 80's I can't believe they never made it to the mainstreams

  • Enter the Grunge scene. Bad timing for a hell of a lot of bands that never got their due respect. :(

  • @newgx

    TOTALLY AGREE!! LOL!! =D =D

  • @newgx YOUR RIGHT ON THERE BRO !!

  • um mito!

  • is that stuff sleaze rock?

  • great band,wicked song

  • Brilliant!

  • Love this Band Izzy should of joined up with the Band at some time, or the Dogs D Amour.

  • great band! and i don't care or give a shit about what some idiot says about them being gay or fagz! peopl like that are just insecure and want others to be miserable with them! the hell with them this is a great song by a great band.

  • Sending this to Ann, and Sweetie at The Moritz. You were so beautiful Ann, hope you're still alive. I won't forget you. Thanks for picking me, not Nige, that night. Those were the days. The Boys rule!

  • They're not the ones spinning on that thing up you ass kid LOL

Btw, How's your spelling comin' along, back in school yet? hehe.

  • you are probably gay.and want them to be gay too!!! Fucking dickhead!

  • you need to grow up.....seriously....

  • I'm searching for the song called" Searching" from The Quire Boys

  • i remember moggy getting smacked in the face in the mayfair in newcastle cos he was being a jumped up prat....

  • Is this the original?

  • Yeah this is the original vid from before they re-mixed the track for A Bit Of What You Fancy. Has Ginger on guitar, was before he left to form Wildheartz and Guy Griffin replaced him and before Rudy Richman joined to replace the original drummer who's in this vid.

  • Rudy Richman use to play in Lone Justice in the mid and late 80's...A different style from the Quireboys..

  • My dad is Rudy Richman

  • You dad is a fine drummer. I kew maria back in the early days. Lone Justice was a great band..Peace...

  • thanks man

  • Hey is your father English?..I forget..I know Nigel Mogg I saw him at The Raibow the night his uncle Phil Mogg and UFO played The Key Club In Hollywood a couple weeks ago..anyways..Have great weekend..Peace,again...

  • no he's not

  • saw them at Music Hall Frankfurt in the late 80's. Great Band

  • jenni667 where did you see these guys. i did not know they were sill going. fantastic band used to love them in the early 90s.

  • This is a great song!

I saw the quireboys a week ago and it was awesome!!!

  • He is Ginger, isn't he?!?!?!?

  • Do you mean Guy Griffin? No, he and Ginger are two separate blokes.

  • great song!!!:D

    5*****

  • That shlda read Wildheartz not WildheatZ. Doh!

  • omg. this guy had Axl Rose complex?

  • Nah Spike was far more Dickensian than Axl. G 'n' R were a crossbreed of Motley Crue and Hanoi Rocks, the Quireboys were far more British in dress sense, quite 70s-ish with a touch of Soho (even though Spike was from the north east). Being a Quireboys geek again, sorry. :-)

  • This is before Guy Griffin joined, the other guitarist besides Guy Bailey is Ginger, who left just as they released 7 O'clock and had a hit with it. Ginger formed the WildheatZ, who had a hit with Caffeine Bomb just round the same time as Quireboys hit Hey You. Sorry, I'm a Quireboys geek. ;-)

  • the irony is that they were a far better band and a nicer bunch of guys before they got their big record deal! I have all the stuff that they released on indie labels, (Mayfair etc), which were far better and closer to their live sound in my opinion

  • I totaly agree... i think a bit of w y f is way too polished and bombastic... too bad actually.

  • None at all, isn't it sad.
