good thinking on removing the camera and your lenses..... I've seen too many horror stories..... if have your baggage stowed in the belly of the plane, always accept the fact you may never see the stuff again. Carry on, you know you have it.
I would assume based upon content covered, (and the toys on the table @ the beginning of the video) he's got a 1D body (only one body??) 16-35mm and 70-200mm both 2.8 and a 50mm for lenses, since he's touring, I'd assume he wants to be able to shoot anything on any given day so possibly all of the above + location sessions etc.. *but these are all assumptions based upon what I see on the table*
