The really amazing thing about this band to me is that everything I've heard them do live actually sounds better than the recorded versions,which are pretty damn good to begin with.And it's not so much because of improvisation or solos,the songs just sound better.I like the live versions better than the recorded versions,and I don't think I've ever felt that way about another band before.

@klongyaw7 I'd have to disagree on that. The studio versions are some of the most delicious audio I have ever experienced. The live versions are definitely good for live, but nowhere near the sound quality of the originals. Although Hatesong is definitely better live because after getting Gavin, they did so much more with that song.

I truly love this band. As I have said before, to listen to them is pure bliss. Porcupine Tree are about as close to heaven as we can come on this earth-their music is intelligent, catchy, and impossible to categorize. They are wildly talented musicians, but never fall into the self indulgent overplaying of other groups that might be called progressive. They can bounce between so many moods and never miss a beat. Everybody watching this video needs to turn their friends onto PT. God Bless PT!
