  • lovely tank!!

  • No offense, but isn't that tank a bit crowded? Kinda of a stressful environment for the parents constantly having to defend their eggs.

  • @bmx2062 i been. i was saying its crap cuz of thr selection of fish in it

  • I love your set up, most of my tanks aren't big enough for drift wood and stuff. he only improvement I could see is if you put a picture back drop on the back instead of just theblue, because it would look more natural with your drift wood and stuff (having said that I only have a back drop on one of my tanks, so I should probably take my own advice!). I don't think the eggs would survive after they hatch with a tank population like that. i've managed it with just mollies in the tank.

  • Hey guys I have a question.. I have a pair of angelfish male and female..they're not that small..the female isn't swimming with both fins..like the left one is perfect but the right one is like clutched against her..plz respond..I really want young angels..

  • ur tank is crap

  • @TheAquariumKid

    and you sound your age

  • @snotbog1 u got silver dollars with angels? and goldfish with tropical fish yeah am 14 so get on my level SON

  • @TheAquariumKid

Goldfish are gone now. See my latest videos. Fish are doing fine.

  • @TheAquariumKid

Silver Dollars do fine with angelfish, I kept several with 3 pairs of angelfish, one pair was even veiltailed. Also, I happen to be 14 as well, and yet I can use correct grammar unlike you.

  • @Xerxes845 i dont think i was talking to u and who cares bout grammer on yt? r u really that fat that u well think that?

  • @TheAquariumKid

Sorry, I couldn't understand the whole first sentence, or any of that, for that matter.

translation to your language: srry i cdnt understand u grammer no good

  • @snotbog1 Your tank isnt crap man i like it

  • @TheAquariumKid I would shut up kid. He got something better than you ever will. Hell, this is even better than mine I have to admit.

  • @301whitehall why dont u shut up? its my opinion on what i think

  • @TheAquariumKid ur tank is crap u noob stop hating on him/her u faggot gtfo the vid if u gonna hate

  • @amthebadman umad? only cuz i got a better tank then u, u dont have to hate

  • @TheAquariumKid eat shit

  • @drgreenG420 umad

  • how is it its one of the coolest fish tanks ive seen

  • @TheAquariumKid how is it its so cool

  • WAY to crowded in there

  • wtf!! u cant put goldfish with angel fish

  • My angel fish have attacked me befor because i put my hand by its nest to moove some decor hahaa

  • Can anyone help? My angels has laid eggs for the 10th time (NEW pair), and after a day they turn white? my female has a deforme finn, and im wondering if shes producing bad eggs? Its really weird??? :-(

  • @Thomas55Pham Um u may have been told already but deformed angels doesn't make the egg white. When the eggs are white, they are bad eggs. throw them out cause they'll turn into fungus.

  • what is that fish at the biggening of the video with the stripped tail????

  • @SexCLexy

    flagtail

  • angel fish are aggressive or no? Like say with danios and stuff

  • Comment removed

  • one of those fish will grow bigger than ur tank - it starts with chinese......

  • hifin......they grow very slowly.

    Not worried about it

  • Dude you made a stue out of your aquarium... you mixed so many species that shouldn't... Please choose a biotop and get rid of some fishes that are not appropriate.

  • I no longer have the minnows, bumble bee gobies and goldfish. Most others are doing fine.

  • i'm gonna make a tank just like yours

  • risky, good luck!!!

  • nice tank

  • thanks

  • that red-cap oranda came out of nowhere :) and it seems a bit out of place, literally lol.

  • he literally got removed from his place and into another

  • cool, he's a cute chubby one; reminds me of a puppy tryin' to run...

  • Where the hell did you get a darter fish. I've been looking at the Percindae family, and it seems you can't find darters in any shops, and most of them are endangered. Regardless, you're tank is overstocked. I'm glad you got the Goldfish out, but the tank is a little excessive.

  • Why do you have so many fish in that tank? They look healthy and everything and I guess you care for them well but it is over stocked.

  • I have an overstocking fetish.

  • lol,the goldfish....

  • how did the goldfish survive in dat tank? isnt it a tropical tank?

  • Yes, it's a tropical tank. The goldfish now have their own tank and are doing well.

  • thats good then, assumed goldfish would die in a tropical environment

  • for sure, not too many "private" corners for them. Check out my most recent clips. I caught them in the process with a tight shot. Pretty amazing footage.

  • nice tank

  • THANKS

  • do the angel fish not eat the frys either?

  • never gets that far. Fish eat the eggs

  • wow do those neons get eaten, why you put goldfish in dere?

  • Neons are doing well. Fairly large for neons.

    Goldfish now have own tank.

  • ok um how do you know tht the angel fish is pregnate.... i knowtht it gets fatter but wut else do you need to knwo?? PLZZZ REPLY,,, IM KIND OF DESPERATE!!!!!!!! l0ol no jk but i really need to know, :D

  • If a female is PG, they male and female will cordon off an area of the tank to prepar the nest. No one will be allowed in the area. Also, their "genitals" will protrude on both the male and female.

If your angelfish is just getting "fat", I would suspect something else like a swim bladder issue. Hope this helps.

  • Lovely tank ! . One of the nicest tanks ive seen in a long time ! . What is the quite large fish at the very start of the video called please?

  • Thank you.

    Flagtail (Semaprochilodus taeniurus)

  • thanks are they rare ?

  • Not rare but not too common either and a little pricey when you do run into them.

  • how much was yours? shall i reasearch them and find out things ? thanks

  • I bought him very small at twenty dollars. You probably won't find them cheaper than that.

  • nice

  • thanks

  • nice angelfish!

  • thanks

  • how do u tell the difference between the male and the female???

  • Male has longer "anatomy" during spawning. Also, my two males fight over the female. (Kind of like people)

  • oh thanks!=]

can u unload the babies angelfish video???

  • Didn't survive, sorry

  • sorry about that!!=[

  • O and even if other fish eat plants you should have them they help the tank a lot and it is good for them to have them to eat as well. They wont last but they will help other fish in long run

  • Ya, Im sure they are alive not dying but does that mean that they are happy?? Go to any fish store they will tell you one inch of full grown fish to each gallon of water. You have at least twice that. My angels just hached last week LOVE THEM LOL yours seem healthy but that is to many fish in one tank. How would you like to live in a night club forever? Not really tons of plants to hide in your tank. Just trying to help the fish out. The fry will never make it in that tank with all those fish.

  • Bought fish very small. The reason it's overcrowded is because I have had a very low death rate. Haven't bouhgt any fish in over a year and don't plan to. Plants would last about a week with all those silver dollars. I change about 60% of the water every 3 weeks.

  • I love your aquarium. It has dense type of species... I wonder where can i buy angel fishes

  • OMG you have gold fish with your angels. How are they alive. By the way WAY to many fish in this tank. They must be so high stressed.

  • I removed goldfish. As far as stress, one year later most everyone is alive and well.

  • xD but they are so funny to watch..

    eating brine shrips.. hehe

  • man.. out of 300 altum Eggs

    only 30 survived.

but 30 is still something.. God i need a very big aquarium for keeping all of them..

    O_O

  • You're 30 ahead of me.....

  • Are those Characin Piranahs??

  • Do you mean vampire characins? Or maybe you're just referring to common piranhas (which do belong to the characin family)--confused.

You're probably referring to my black-barr pacus (silver dollars) SEE RIGHT COLUMN DESCSRIBTION.

  • can you tell whats the size of your angelfish and whats its age

  • I bought them in December at approx 2.5 to 3inches in length. I'm guessing they were about 6 months to a year old at purchase. The smallest is now about 4.5 in and the largest

6 in. The black and gold have paired and the marble often challenges the other male (black)

  • I've been checking out your fish videos, pretty cool. What a beautiful tank! I wish I could see it in person....I guess your wife wouldn't be too happy if I showed up unannounced at your door step...ha.

  • Thanks

I'm working on some updated vids but haven't yet figured out how to upload in "high quality" yet. Hopefully soon.

  • thank u

  • yeah the snails will eat allmost anything including eggs O.o. My Altum pair has spawned and now theres fry!

  • congrats

  • its a marble and a gold one? what could the fry turn into. ? Gold marbles?

  • Beat's me. Now that I took the snails out, maybe I'll find out.

  • Nice tank anyway.

  • thanks

  • WoW beautful fish beautfull tank ..wow..i'm so jelouse! i hope one day my tank can look as pretty as your !!!

  • thank you

a little time, money and some patience are key

  • My angelfish lay eggs about every 3 weeks it seems. They end up eating them too. I don't think it's your snail. It's everything else in your tank that are the bigger threat to them. I was enjoying the diversity of your set-up right up till 26 seconds when one of the two "fancy goldfish" swam into view. WHY!? To me it's like oil & water.... They don't blend well so why try? They are big & healthy, I'll give you that, but I think it would look better (more congruent) w/out them. Just my opinion.

  • Yeah, I hear you on the goldfish thing. They were starter fish that just wouldn't go away and once you "name" a fish, it's all over (especially when you have a wife). Can't start a seperate tank for them either. No room (apartment). You're right though. It's just darn right wrong but we love 'em anyway.

I removed the snails so we'll see what happens with the angelfish.

  • lmaooo... damm thats a nice selectionn/// kinda funny tho seein that much diversity :dd

  • thank you. It works, that is until a fish gets sick and then it's a pain. With snails, shrimp and loaches in a diversified and crowded tank, treatment becomes a challenge. A couple of silver dollars are sick, so I added salt. They're improving but my loaches are not liking it one bit. But overall, it's working. Haven't bought fish since I set it up last Oct/Nov and pretty much everyone's still accounted for.

  • hmm dont you think you should add plants? it will do.. the angelfish also lay eggs on plants :)

  • Plants would be eaten by other fish like the silver dollars. I do have have fake plants on the left side of the tank but none with enough surface area on leaves for eggs. Bottom line is that the eggs don't survive the night anyway because of the apple snails I have in the tank. Thanks for your question though.

  • dang ur angels look beautiful......especially the black one..........

  • thanks. They seem to be quite attracted to eachother as well.

  • thats cooleo.....um how do u tell the differents from a male and a female

  • see below. Their privates are shaped differently (noticeable during spawning). Search google angelfish breeding or spawning.

  • wow, amazing.

how do you tell the difference between a male and female? how hard are they to breed?

the black one was impressive! i have a pair of them, only about 3 inches big though. if they are a male and female, are they big enough to spawn yet?

  • I'm no angelfish expert. I think the genitalia are shaped different during spawning. The male's protrudes farther (big shocker!). Do a google search for angelfish breeding. I have 2 males and one female. The males can really fight, sometimes twirling in circles. My largest is almost 6 inches including the tail. I would say that spawning generally starts around 1 year/3inches but again, I'm no expert. The whole breeding thing never really intersted me although many fish in my tank often do breed.

  • Sorry I kinda messed up my last comment. its supposed to say damn i want a black angelfish. Cool fish, I see you have a strong pair there.

  • Thank you. They spawn about every 6 weeks.

  • Damn I wanat a black angelfih. Cool fish, I see you have a strobg pair there.
