yesterday, out of nowhere, i yelled out, "your bending the shafts!" . i said to myself, "self, i bet someone has put the slappy white bit on youtube about "stop bending the shafts!". i had forgotten that it was a tom hanks story about slappy. seeing it again was absolute hilarity. i'm glad to know i'm not the only one who remembers this. i'll tell the people who look at me like i'm totally off my rocker to look this up.
I can't believe he never did stand-up (except in that horrible "Punchline"). And his performance here really makes you miss his old comedy days in film.
