How the new Daleks should look like

The Wedding of River Song Dalek was grey. DW team has recently said the multi-colour Daleks have failed a bit, but the design will remain, the names of their ranks too (We still don't know what The Eternal's job is).  I like the design and the colour, because it is reminicient of the classic series, but each one to their own

Your almost there. You forgot that the Daleks, in order to move on a not-electrocuted, need the solar panels on the body segment (which the 'hump' in the back was supposed to replace). The current design would limit the Daleks movement a lot.

I'm a fan of the old series. Trust me.

I do like the design of the new daleks and the colour coding, but i wish they had dirtier, more menacing colours. Not colours that make them look like they're plastic.  P. S when i said dirty, i meant it in a way that the colours should be dark and not as smoothe

i dont see the problem with the new daleks. theres been dalek colour coding in doctor who for years, except now the colour coding is more prominent than before. they look dalek, act dalek, talk dalek......

i really dont see the problem.

my only REAL problems are the "Hunchback" thing and the box on he front. Colour coding I'm fine with. I'm not even gonna mention that they look plastic now. Gimme metal daleks! =P

@hutchy1k94 meh, i kind of like the hunchback thing. i think it gives you the idea that there could be a huge, pulsating, intelligent creature inside. although i do agree, they do look a little bit plasticy, but hey, the grey daleks from the classic series looked like wood

Do remember that nation had ansalutley nothing to do with the design. it was Raymond Cusick who came up with the design, and didnt get a single penny off it because Terry nation swept up all the money.

@LukeRyanTanswell Well the new Daleks have been booted. Old ones from 1967 are coming back. This is what i heard in the news paper.

I don't recall anything being mentioned about the new Daleks even scrapped except only for one season to give them a break. But it seems that idea has been scrapped as Moffat has said that they are currently thinking up Dalek story ideas for the next season

I think their hunchback is there for a reason. I was on the internet searching my usual Doctor Who news, and I saw something about the back part coming down and revealing a bigger, better, and badder weapon, so it might not all be tears and despair. And Tele-Tubies.
