The Bengal Tigers are a highly endangered species in their natural habitat in India. if all these Tigers would be set free in India, it would be a great service to the Eco system.

While I am having fun destroying your fallacious and illogical "documentary," I would like to call your attention to something else. I'm sure you've noticed that there are stars branded into some of the elephants (in the Red Unit). The elephants with these stars came to Ringling from an intense logging camp in Thailand. They were chained with actual chains, starved, and were expected to drag logs for miles across the jungle. And if you think Ringling beats animals, you should go to Thailand.

@patcuvie You know, it's really funny that Ringling is videotaped by protestors EVERYWHERE they go, and yet you have a very insignificant pile of evidence with which to prove that Ringling beats their elephants. The elephants can't be beaten on the train, on the walk from the train to the arena (or vice-versa), in the animal open house pens, or on the arena floor. I've seen that video from '09 & there are only two guys who actually beat the elephants. I notice that both of them no longer tour.

@retownsend - Ringling admitted in court they beat the elephants. The '09 video shows Joey Frisco, Alex Vargas, Mario Bovio and psycho blonde haired guy beating the elephants. Vargas and Frisco are still employed with Ringling and Bovio is listed in their program. Psycho blonde haired guy probably works at their breeding and training facility in Florida as he is just the brutal kind of guy Ringling wants breaking and training their baby elephants. You just lie like Ringling has taught you to.

By your logic, we are taking wild animals, putting them in small stables and forcing them to carry us on their backs. We put a metal bit in their mouth, attached to a bridle, which we used to force their head to turn in a certain direction, in order to steer them a certain way. Surely this is just as inhumane as making elephants walk around an arena and turn in circles...

What is most obnoxious about your argument (and every PETA retard does the same) is how you refrain from mentioning the 2 dozens horses that Ringling uses in the show. Why? Because you know that by bringing them into your argument, people would more instantly realize how ridiculous your argument really is. Horses used to roam on wide plains until the world domesticated them. If it is OK to domesticate a horse, why can't RB breed elephants and use them in the show?

Regardless the conditions Ringling forces the horses to live in are just as appalling and desolate as the elephants and tigers. @patcuvie Horses were wild animals too until we domesticated them! Most of the current Ringling elephants were born in captivity! Horses born in captivity have to be "broken in" so that people can ride them! The same is true for elephants. What is the big deal? And the stables that Ringlings horses live in are exactly the same size as the majority of horse stables in the United States.

Are you against horseback riding too? Surely a bridle is just as "inhumane" as a bullhook...

San Jose is one of the few locations where there is not an animal open house. In almost every city, guests can go into the animals living environment. They put sand, dust, and hay on the ground so that the elephants don't have to stand on the concrete. The "chains" that Ringling uses to tie its elephants during feeding and sleeping times are covered with cotton padding. You are clearly not up to date on new standards.

Also, tigers are some of the laziest animals on the planet.

I live in the Bay Area and I've gone to see Ringling Bros. at the HP Pavilion every single year, with the exception of this year. The animal open house used to be a considerable distance from the entrance into the arena. I am certain that the unappealing distance is the only reason for the lack of an AOH in San Jose.
