is it waterproof ? cause i was using sunlabs and a drop of water would leave a mark and I hated the fact that I needed to avoid any contact with water to look naturally tanned...

You don't need to use sponges. Put your gloves on rub it all over your body with out rubbing it in to the skin so it looks like your wearing a mask leave it on for an hour and shower it off. You with have a darker tan than what you see in this video.

But I was confused about how to apply it, so this video was really really helpful! good thing I thought about looking it up on youtube haha. I have just a few questions...how long does it last after you shower? I shower at least twice a day, so if I apply right after the first shower and then I shower again, would it fade away? I'm talking about repeating the process several times.

the sponge does work for a more natural tan but you should damp your sponge and squeeze it out so the self tanner doesnt get absorbed into the sponge and wont be wasting any product =]

i use this every other day and i love it!

Definatly not streaky at all!! it last for about 3 days depending how much you shower, and does fade quite abit when you shower. i normally use this after a shower so it has longer to stain my skin.

it develops its dark colour over about 4-5 hours but you can reapply to get a darker finish :)

Really do recommend this product to anyone :)

@WweMariaa No it doesn't give you cancer, it gives you an all over safe natural looking tan without the harmful uv rays from the sun, and without wasting your time sunbathing! it covers up most of my pores and fades any bruises or marks, until it washes of. be sure to go in the shower about 5 hours after you have applied it to get rid of the guidlines, and to make i look even more natural!

@zweetlovv it stays on your skin for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 7 it depends on how often you shower. it's more of a yellowish bronze colour that makes you look really healthy!

@nikimeow it shouldn't do, make sure to use lots of high protection sunscreen!!! or you may burn and start to peel, leaving your skin with dry patches, freckles, blisters, wrinkles and an uneven tone.

if you put on a lotion on your elbows and knees and any other place that absorbs more color before you apply the tanner it will help to even out the application. No more dark patches :)

if you just put lotion on the spots that get to dark before you apply the tanner it wont absorbe as much and then apply lotion to the rest of your body after the tanner=)

Yes, it's available at my TJ Maxx. It's hit or miss. I've been checking for it like crazy and the one I bought was the only one, with no lid! They get new trucks often so their stock comes and goes quickly.

Try wiping off your elbows and knees with a dry cloth after you're done applying your self tanner... this prevents those areas from getting stained. Great tutorial!
