  • How much more is a custom color from the base price?

  • @MegaYoteHunter any standard single color wrap or satin lacquer finish would be the same price.

  • Can you order this model in a different color other than white and how? Also, great sounding snare, love the Spaun drums!

  • @MegaYoteHunter Any color you want, no problem. Just call us at 909.364.0100 or contact us via our contact form at spaundrums. com.

  • Man, I wish Spaun snares were affordable. They sound so good

  • @keithpwns You can buy a crappy Chinese drum that sounds bad for cheap, which in turn makes you sound bad. Or you can invest in a high quality, American made Spaun drum that sounds great and makes you sound great as a drummer. Which is really more "affordable" when you consider your life as a drummer and the impression you want to make on the musicians around you?

  • @keithpwns The only reason they seem so expensive is because they aren't generic assembly line made snares like most others

  • I like the snare, and I would just like to mention that fact that i watched a lot of your demos/videos and I really really admire your dedication to your craft and I admire the fact that you take the time to demo your kits by your self. You seem very humble as well. All around a great business man and a FANTASTIC drum maker! well done my friend. and as soon as I finish saving up I'm buying my kit from your company because you're the only custom company that i trust.

  • @ThatCoolGuy18 Thanks for the great compliments. We look forward to building your Spaun kit!

  • No. Just the SM57 on the batter side.

  • Sounds awesome. Just out of interest are you using any other mics apart from that SM57 on the snare?

  • How much is this snare? really interested! :P

  • @JuanRodriguezDrummer We can build you a snare with the same specs for $665.

  • I want this. Now. I've got 400. Can that cover it? (:

    Serious question though.

  • Travis and Orange County called....they want their color scheme back.

  • @SCOUTCHRIS actually they couldn't have called because they are out of business.

  • @spaundrumstv Nice one, Spaun.

  • @spaundrumstv Hahahahahahahahaha ooohhhhhh that's great. Love the snare too

  • @spaundrumstv That is such ownage, I LOVE SPAUN!

  • @SCOUTCHRIS I think that Spaun is superior to OCDP to be honest. And you can't call solid white "your" color scheme that's being a douche bag...

  • i would choose Spaun over Truth or Shine any day

  • @TheDrummingMexican96 shine is out of bussiness

  • hey brian, is there anyway you could make an 8x14 birch snare drum with a chrome mirror wrap with flat black powder coated hardware and a 4inch split

  • @JackMehoff845 We could make an 8x14 birch snare with a 3.5" split, mirror chrome wrap and flat black hw.

  • @spaundrumstv That would be amazing

  • @spaundrumstv time to start saving up

  • Holy moly this snare sound so awesome!

  • awesome sound! i love it

  • What does it mean "Split Snare"? Is it cut in two pieces and sick together only because of the lugs? BTW, snare sounds amazing!

  • @transplantero Yes, the drum is completely cut in half! Then we put it back together and the lugs are what keep the top and bottom half a complete unit.

  • What skins are you using, and what's causing the ring everytime you hit it?

  • @MAD018 It's an Evans G1 coated single ply head. Keeps the drum sound very open and bright. Also, the depth of the drum, thin maple shell, and zig zap split all add to the drums resonance. If you want less ring you can use a 2-ply head with resonace control or use some dampening like Moon Gel or tape. You can always back off the resonance of a drum but you can never add it in if it doesn't exist in the first place.

  • Nice POP

  • This snare sounds tight.Love the way it look too.
