This short movie is a planetarium version of "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by Kenji Miyazawa. (/watch?v=H6rP-IzWpZ8&feature=­related) It was translated in English, too. The story is too long for a planetarium show so that they just go over summary of it. It is great to watch this on the planetarium screen, and there're some planetariums still show this movie in Japan. It is in Japanese, though....

I think It would completely awe-inspiring to see this at a planetarium, even if it is in Japanese. Maybe I'll travel to Japan someday and see if I can catch a screening of it! :D Have you seen it at a planetarium yourself?

I found trailer version in English (/watch?v=9nrYfnExZwc&feature=­related), and I know Kagaya film has English version. This show went to the US like 5 or 6 years ago.
