D-Star: I love the features, but I hate the sound. HamRadio must not sound like HIFI but D-Star always sounds like a very bad internetstream, also on direct-QSO's. I wish D-Star means not the end of Shortwave. Think about, what happens when the internet is down. Shortwave always runs.

@MrD0740 d-star is not the internet it is a radio based internet in other words the radios act as the link but the data and voice use the same protocols as the internet. so we can share files when the internet is down. short wave will always be used so don't give up on it yet.
