  • Does the flavor change much if I add tofu instead of the meat?

  • 2:39 Don't mess with an Asian women holding a knife in the kitchen.

  • kid level kimchi fried rice. simply, richs don't know how to cook. and how to get pain and solve hardship. just power. and money. and friends. power. and there is nothing. you looks really lonely. before all you die, all you have to think alone so many times. thinking and dreaming is reason why human is living. there is nothing in killing other weak people or lone person and following power, money. if you die, there is nothing. thinking and dreaming is all than to make money.

  • spam kimchi fried rice ftw!!

  • this tastes amazing with korean marinated beef too :)

  • @nerdybamboo yea i bet but when u make this its usally when u have leftovers or low quality foods.. like spam tofu tuna.. this is like the americans pb&j

  • Love kim chi fried rice! Its even better with tuna like this... gotta use Korean brand though... American tuna doesn't seem to have the right taste. I prefer mine just topped with a fried egg... I also usually through in whatever is in the fridge... sometimes some fish cake, or veggies... if I don't have tuna, spam or hot dogs are great too. Makes a perfect lunch!

  • 番組名わかる方いますか?

  • I made this recipe tonight I must say I was rather surprised how delicious it is. I never thought the slice of cheese would make it SOOOO tasty. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • My dad told me a cooking tip that will be useful to everyone making kimchi fried rice. To save time chopping garlic,

dice a garlic and put it in a jar

Cover with olive oil, and maybe ill add sesame oil as well.

Now when you wanna make kimchi fried rice with garlic you have it ready made in the fridge.

  • So, a cheese slice on top, instead of an egg, I'll give that a go. I just made Kimchi Fried Rice, I used olive and sesame oil, ham, bit of sweet chilli, garlic paste, salt and sugar. My bro was impressed with how good it tasted.

  • I have tried making the kimchi fried rice from this video 3 times and it has no taste and is oily. It tastes very bad. Since looking around, I have found how to make restaraunt quality kimchi fried rice. u need to use sesame oil!

    1) put 2 tablespoons sesame oil into pan on high heat

    2) put the onions and garlic and fry 2 min

    3) put chicken strips in (optional)

    4) after chicken cooks add kimchi

    5) 2mins after add rice

    6) add more sesame oil (1 tblspn), fry 3min

    7) serve with egg sunny side up

  • put the sesame oil last and only a little bit, you should use a different oil for frying since sesame oil has a low smoking point which means it burns easily...

  • If it tasted oily than chances are you used too much oil and was not cooking at a high enough heat (fried rice needs a high heat not natter what the recipe is). If you use too much sesame oil as well, all you will taste is the sesame oil!

  • @ndog37

    1. u have to use aged kimchi, fresh kimchi wont have the sour taste to it thus taking away the focused flavor of the fried rice.

    2. in this video she uses olive oil but vege oil is not suitable due to the act that it is completely flavorless(you are right in what you said. sesame is the best way to go)

    3. try putting in some korean pepper paste while u fry ur kimchi and fry it together. makes it more spicy and a bit saltier in a good way.

  • Nah, dude to much sesame oil....u use 2 teaspoon MAX (for once person =1-1.5 cups of cooked rice) its better to used ground pork or Pork belly (more tradtional) salt peper garlic, chilli powder, a bout 1/2 teaspoon ginger . to get taste u use the fat frm the pork along with the lil oil used to fry it in weither olive or canaloa peanut or canola etc

  • i've never eaten it with cheese before

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful, home cooking =)

  • Um...I never heard of a slice of cheese on top....

  • DUDE THIS SONGS IS YIRUMA @.@

  • its 2:17 am here in new york

and i was very hungry till

    i saw this

  • that's not very nice

  • Prefer spam than tuna on mine :D

  • corned beef seems nice too

  • what is your problem?

  • kimchi fried rice does NOT have sliced cheese on top! you're supposed to put a fried egg on it.

  • Not really, you can add whatever you like. U close minded homeskillet.

  • Koreans put sliced cheese on fried rice also <.< Japanese people top their fried rice with ketchup.

  • Yum yum, I like the ketchup part.

  • koreans put cheese on top of many things.... ddeokbokki, ramen, and fried rice.

  • this is not how u make it

  • ew.. cheese?? that's not korean.. :P

  • lolz wats rong with cheese? i like :P

  • Well perhaps younger Koreans like it more?

  • It looks good and I'll have to try it, but I really don't get the slice of processed cheese on top lol, I think I'll leave that out.

  • 치즈도 아닌 가짜 치즈를 볶음밥에... totally ruined an otherwise fine 볶음밥.

  • Wow! Great video. I like the music in the background and this makes it easy to follow the recipe.

  • hey, thanks for teaching me

  • this is my favorite recipe but i cant stand the smell of kimchi and how it feels

maybe im going to tell my mom to make some for me X]P

  • this video is making me dizzy

  • what a weird pan

  • OMG looks so good =))

  • served with....CHEESE ?????????????????????

  • 너무 맛있~! 김치 볶음밥 싶어요!

  • hahaha

  • Looks good [:

  • okay guys, just trying to end it.

your just watching how to make it!

god that is stupid of you guys just arguing about just a word that koreans dont speak at all!

i'm personally a korean, about the koreans they have a bit of chinese caracter and language. thats all.

so guys this stupid drama here, needs to stop.

    and just injoy the video.

  • no it only sounds like ching chong ching to ignorant faggots who have never learned to be culturally literate...

  • i didn't hear her say ching chong ching once through that video :)

  • open your ears and listen closely.

  • Well I speak korean so i understand everything, and from what i hear there is no "ching chong ching".. =) have a nice day..

  • I'm not chinese.

  • I dont the point here is that weather you are chinese or not. This person is basicly making fun of all asians.

KhudaHeat-I hope you understand that by mocking asian as "ching chong ching" is same as saying "nigger" to black people.

  • even chinese don't use ching chong chong, get the facts straight 1st. none of the asians do, it's just how westerners display their racism towards asians in generally, you honestly think that any racism against asians will somehow single how koreans as being better?! reality check. the whole point of khudaheat's ignorant remarks is to ridicule asian languages in general.

  • I dont think the point here is that weather you are chinese or not. This person is basicly making fun of all asians.

KhudaHeat-I hope you understand that by mocking asian as "ching chong ching" is same as saying "nigger" to black people.

  • yummy!!

  • Whats up with Koreans putting cheese in everything now these days. I've seen people putting cheese in Kimbab, Ramen, duk bokke and every type of fried rice (dak galbi, kimchi, regular, etc...)

I think its really weird to put cheese in those type of dishes.

  • People in Japan top off their fried rice with ketchup <.< Not totally nasty at all but might be unusual if you're American.

  • LOL! I use ketchup in my fried rice. Especially when i make an fried rice omelette. I make the egg big enough to wrap around the fried rice. Then i squirt ketchup on it like a zig zag. It's delicious!! Americans should definitely try it!

  • korean awsome :)

  • its kimchi fried rice :) I used to eat this as a kid in korea.. it isn't peasant food, it's very popular... and people have started putting cheese on it just recently, but the dish itself is traditional, bibimbap was seen as peasant food just so you know.. only women would eat it during the day while their husbands were working in order to stretch side dishes...

  • What would be some "real Asian delicacies?"

    "Embarrassing" "peasant" on and on....

yeah, your profile stated that you like to talk shit. But let's hear from you again. Thanks.

  • obviously you like to eat shit.

nobody asked you to visit my profile, save your trash somewhere else, retard.

  • Yeah. Obviously...you're LOST! Go study your Hindu. Afterall, that seems to be the flavor of the month, or rather - "phases."

I like to eat food that comes from the heart, even if it's left-overs with a creative bent. YOU?! LOL!

You're a wannabe loser who hates your own heritage. You're right, nobody asked me to read your profile, but NOBODY asked you to post such a LOSER'S comment. Live with it!

Now go cry in your pillow.

  • tuna???

  • Love the background Yiruma's song.

  • i had some a few days ago in el camino. it's so good @___@

  • so what's the noodles for???

  • never tried it with cheese. the best kim-chee fried rice is with go-chu-jang in it. hold the cheese pleez

  • i've had bokkumbap before but i've never had it with a slice of cheese, I should give it a try

  • It looks so good is there any way to put English subtitles? I'd love to make this sometime!

  • 되게 재밌게 사시는거같아요 ㅋㅋㅋ

    부러워요!!

  • im making this in front of my kitchen right now lol. ah this music is soothing. this lady rocks!

  • mmmmmmmmm ^_____^;

  • yummy i will try the cheese!

  • Kamsahamida! But I think I'd rather use toufu than "orange humberger cheese", also i will add onion, green onion and possibly some garlic :P but thanx it's nice, I'll try it!

  • Wat is Kimchi anyway? DO they have it in some kind of paste?

  • Fermented cabbage, or so I know.

  • Yup, tats wat I noe too. But im wondering if for recipes like this, do they have specially made paste like those fried rice pastes anot.

  • Yeah, I know something about tat too

  • it's various pickled vegetables, usually they consist of cabbage lettuce, onion, cucumber, and other greens. They usually don't use a paste, most koreans prefer to use ground up red pepper.

  • That looks yummy...I love the really long spoons they use :]

  • hmm isnt there like onions garlic added to it? or is that too chinese? which would be better? i have to learn to cook! hungry! IM A GUY TOO!

  • it looks really good :D

  • omg... im very tempeted to go and buy the stuff to make it...

  • I love good old Kimchi Bokumbap. It really is good to keep it simple instead of adding different sauces. It's so good the next day when you don't feel like making anything. You just get left over rice, kimchi, and some oil. The tuna and cheese are optional; never tried tuna and cheese. I better try it out.

  • haha why do u find ramyun? taste not good? it looks yummy!

  • 그것은 정말 좋은, 나는 그것을 원하 먹는

  • Thanks, I've always wondered how it was made. It looks so good! I can hardly wait to make it!

  • OMG!! tat look sooooo GOOODDD!! can't wait to try it!! hehe!

  • That cheese thing with kimchi bokkumbap is a new thing for me.. Must try it!

  • then why the fuck r u here watching a clip learning to MAKE korean food. get outta here.

  • again, it's called homegirls got korean envy. excuse my language, but it's kinda how hirls have cock envy.

  • So much of the Korean food is very healthy. Kimchi is very good for you. Salt enhances flavor too...why is it bad to enhance with spice? Take away the seasoning from a hamburger patty and it tasted like crap....isn't it that way with everything?!

  • 아까 라면 어디갔니 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • omfg im eating that exact brand of raman right now O.o o.O

  • If you want to try out a kimchi fried rice recipe without cheese, check out my video on my channel.

  • i'd really love to learn korean language since i love kmovies..:D

  • cool. i never tried it with cheese before.XDD my bro will ahve another reason to amke fun of me

  • of course the rice is precooked, if it wasnt it would take long ~

  • the rice is precooked right?

  • Yes...it is probably a korean or japanese short grain rice.

  • Lovely recipe, never seen fried rice with cheese before, interesting.

  • american cheese? i think that was the after taste she got in the end when she dropped her spoon lol

  • cool. never tried it with tuna...

    looks goot

  • you forgot to put some soy sauce.

some sugar and ground black grouned pepers makes more yummy

  • Quick and easy. I will try it! Thank you.
